It bolted up fine.
The only thing I dislike so far is the name. First, let me say I am not a serious off roader. I farm and I work on cars and equipment. I only intend to use this a couple of times a year at the very most so with that in mind, I bought on the budget. I am happy so far with this. I put it together without problems in about 10 minutes with common hand tools. The Ironton 12K winch I purchased bolted right up to it. I had to put the sides a bit more vertical than I would have liked due to the control wire socket on my winch, but that is the whole reason I purchased this particular mount (aside from the price). I have not used it yet, but it seems well made. It's the first one I have ever owned so I have nothing to compare it to. Time will tell....

No instructions but easy to figure out
It came with no instructions but honestly even my four year old figured it out. For my Badland 12.5k winch, I simply mounted the fairlead first. Then, came the winch. And finally the handles. Trickiest part was the handles. Hardware is good quality. Makes it a lot easier to lock up my winch since theft seems more common these days.

Good, but could be better.
Of course it's not hard to figure out, but instructions could have saved some time. It is a pretty tight fit for a 12000 lb Badlands Winch, which is nice once it's all put together, but leaves little room to install fasteners. Definitely install the Fairlead before the winch (with the nuts to the outside) and figure out what angle you want the handles set at before you mount the winch (with the nuts to the inside) because there's no room for fingers once the winch is in place. The wires are so tight against the handles with this winch, that if you plan on using a fabric cover, you should put it on the winch before mounting it because it's never coming all the way back off. At least it's not getting stolen. Ideally there would be a model that offsets the base plate higher and had some sort of skid plate to protect the Fairlead, because so many front hitch receivers are so far below the bumper and will inevitably end up plowing up dirt or catching on rocks, but we use what's on the market before we start welding up custom parts. Then again, market demand drives manufacturers to make what we're looking for off the shelf.

Works perfect
I was going to make one of these myself, glad I didn’t. For the money you can’t go wrong. Yes no directions but trust me you don’t need them.Fits my rough country Pro 9500 # winch perfectly. I wanted something I could use on multi vehicles and my trailer and this does the trick.
