It’s easy to fold. A little heavy but that’s because of it’s durability. I can even lean on it when the upper stopper is locked and the lower stopper is put on. The upper stopper needs a little force but not impossible to do. For me that’s fine because it supports the sturdiness and besides it’ll possibly wear out through time. I suggest every buyer to follow the instructions step by step in assembling so you don’t have to go back and forth disassembling like I did .In terms of safety, I’m pretty sure this has the safest built available in this category . I always read reviews from different brands for a specific item I want , and take note of the pros and cons. I make sure it’s the best based on my research in terms of purposefulness, durability and safety, versatility, price and look . Nice product. Much better and easier than a playpen. Nice to be able to customize. Worth the extra money! Will be using it for quite some time

We use this is our living room for our daughter. It helps keep the dog and cat away from her, but she can still see us and everything happening in the room. She can play for 45-60 minutes by herself. We just put blankets on the floor and throw some toys in. She loves it.I only gave 4 starts because the locks on the top can come loose while our daughter is pulling up and cruising. We have to check periodically to make sure all of the joints are secure. It’s great for home, but much too bulky to travel with (we have a Nissan Rogue and it would take up almost all of the trunk space).

In less than 1 week, this unit Collapsed on our toddlers twice causing small injuries. The suction cups at the bottom may hold for a light weight baby but our 2 and 3 year old toddlers moved this unit around like it was a toy car. Heavy duty and strong for a baby who can’t walk well but NOT made for toddlers.

If you want to buy this for your kids, dont buy this one, it can NOT be sturdiness and stable. Waste money on this expensive. Not worthy it.
