Higher quality than original.
Great upgraded key fob. Much higher quality than the original. Once you have the keys cut you can auto program them yourself just by starting up the car twice.

Cheap Knock Off Crap - Do Not Buy
I really wanted this to work for me. I bought a Camaro SS that didn't have an OEM key fob with it, only one of these knock off ones that didn't work, which should of been my first clue not to make th e same mistake. I bought another knock off key fob off Amazon and it worked OK, but remote start would never work. I saw this "upgraded" one a while later and thought it might perform better. Remote start did not work still. Now 3 months later, the lock and unlock buttons barley work. The trunk button works most of the time, but not all. Now I'm off to get an OEM fob and swap my cut key into it. Should of started there. Don't buy these, you will sooner or later be disappointed :(

Door lock stopped working after 7 months
Worked great for the first few months, but after 7 months the lock button stopped working. It would occasionally read and lock but i would end up standing there for 15 seconds pressing lock over and over hoping it would lock, eventually just using the button on the door. After 2 months of dealing with that the unlock button has stopped working all together. This key is a great choice for a short term but not for a longer lasting replacement

I stand on the shoulders of giants...
Bought it for my 2013 Terrain. Read the reviews, especially about punching out the pin holding the straight portion of the ignition key on both the old fob and the new one. I used a small brad to drive it out of both, from the back of the fob in both cases, pulled it out with needle-nosed pliers. Also read about programming the fob - used my other fob to turn the ignition to on without starting it. Sat there for 10 seconds or so, then turned it off. Put the new fob to turn the ignition to on, again without starting it, for about 10 seconds. Turned it off, held my breath, and hit the lock button - the doors locked! All the buttons worked, although I don't use the auto-start button. Two things. To insert the old ignition key into the new fob I had to put a drop of oil on the end of it, just a little; took a bit of elbow grease to get it fully seated. Then inserting the pin was a challenge. neither the old pin or the new one would go in for me, couldn't even get it started. So I finally used a tiny drill bit to clean up the hole - that worked. Right now the pin is fine, not loose, still had to pound it in, but it went in. Took altogether an hour or so to get the pin in without damage to anything, so don't get frustrated. I kept the old pin in case there is an issue later. Can't speak to the long-term quality of the fob, but it seems solid and looks great. Wanted to let people like me know what worked for me.

Perfect fit
Fit exactly like it was supposed to. It saved me hundred's from having to get a replacement key. Programming was simple and I did it all be myself and I’m no car expert!
