Presentation of the set is good, flavours are lovely

A nicely presented tea bag set, overall good quality and nice Winnie the Pooh artwork. There are 8 different flavours and each one is included twice.Inside the little boxes, the flavoured tea bags were individually wrapped in plastic so that helps preserve the flavour and fragrance somewhat. However, the black tea bags such as English Breakfast and Afternoon Tea were not individually wrapped in plastic and I feel that their taste was affected as a result. Additionally, upon opening the big box, I felt that the different fragrances were mixed and as they are strong, you can smell them all at the same time, which I am not super keen on. Perhaps the individual wrapping could be made more fragrance-resistant and be used for all the bags?The tea itself varies in strength, flavour and quality. I enjoyed some of them such as the Earl Grey and the White Orange Spice, but the black tea is fairly average. The teabags are biodegradable silk style.This would make a nice gift for someone who likes Winnie the Pooh and spiced tea. For a black tea aficionado, it might not be the best choice as I expected it to be better.

I love drinking tea, and so when this Charbrew set came up for review I was intrigued to see what the selection would be like. First off, the packaging is awful for a gift set with way too much plastic. The packaging is excessive, even for a gift set. Whilst the packing is attractive, I can't see how for just 18 teabags the price is £8.99. If it came in a nice wooden or tin box, I could just about justify the price, but even then, I would want fantastic flavours in the tea, which brings me to the next point I'd like to make. The Earl Grey and English Breakfast tea are exactly how I would hope them to taste. The English Breakfast makes a lovely strong cup of tea, and the Early Grey has the perfect balance of tea and bergamot and is refreshing to drink. However, any of the teas with spices in them such as the Apple and Cinnamon, I just found the spices overpowering the over flavours to the point of not being drinkable.In summary, not the greatest flavours or packaging, and is overpriced. I am being generous by giving 2-stars based on the two more traditional tea bag flavours.

This is a set of 16 tea bags in Winnie the Pooh gift set packaging, which is lovely and very giftable.The product is exactly as you see in the photos, with very sweet Winnie the Pooh imagery and decent packaging. You get eight types of tea in this set, with two bags of each. Flavour is always a subjective thing, but you do get a good choice and if flavoured tea is your thing, there should be something to suit in the selection of English Breakfast, Mulled Spice, Chai, Apple and Cinnamon, Camomile and Lemongrass, Earl Grey, White Orange Spice and Afternoon tea. I found all of them to be drinkable and with plenty of flavour. The English Breakfast, Afternoon, Earl Grey and Chai tasted pretty much as I expected them to within normal tolerances. The other flavours were different and well worth a try. My favourite was the Apple and Cinnamon, and even my least favourite, the White Orange Spice, was still pretty good.There is a good amount of time to run on these too, with a best before date of July 2026.At the time of writing this review, the cost is £12.99, and although that does feel a little on the expensive side, I would pay it for a gift.
