Smart Water Bottle Hydration Tracking System

***Update*** Do not buy this!*** Seller suggests I can fix the problem by removing the inner valve and readjusting. This is not an easy task at all and after struggling through it, the bottle was not flowing again a couple of days later! Tried again, same results! Seller now expects me to pay return shipping on an item that was defective from day one! Save yourself the $$$$ and aggravation. Had my bottle for about two weeks. First two weeks were great! Love the reminder alarm. I was definitely drinking more than usual. Today, it won't allow water to flow out. I have to suck the c water out, which in turn lot all 8 lights after drinking only about 6 oz. of water! Can not return directly with Amazon, waiting to hear from retailer how they will deal with this.

This water bottle is garbage. Upon receipt from the manufacturer, water would not flow freely through the opening as it reportedly should. After weeks of ineffective troubleshooting and back and forth with customer service, I was finally sent a properly working lid. However, not long after using the bottle on a regular basis, debris began collecting beneath the silicone inside the lid. I was able to easily remove the silicone to rinse out whatever was collecting in there, but re-inserting is nearly impossible. Once reassembled, it's yet another challenge to get the fit perfect in order for the water to flow freely through the opening. Furthermore, the seam in the lid above the belt clip (which is completely useless, by the way) collects dirt and debris from handling and cannot be thoroughly cleaned. There are other "smart" water bottles on the market-- do not invest in this one. Update: I was able to crack apart the lid, via the seam mentioned above, with a thin knife. You can see in the photos below how debris collected there as well. I do think some of what we're seeing in those pictures is adhesive, but a lot of other questionable material rinsed away when I ran it under hot water. Also see pictures the debris collected under the silicone lid.

Not what I thought it would do for the money. Don't even use it. The water doesn't stay cold doesn't light up when time to take a drink. Just disappointed

Same problem a lot of people seem to have. It looked like it was getting mold or black spots under silicone piece in the cap. When I took the cap out to wash thoroughly with hot water and tried to reinsert it no longer would flow through the cap. Disappointing! Seems to be a design flaw if you can't remove it easily to clean it out for safety. Would not buy this product again!

I have three of these bottles at home. I have tried other smart water bottles too. Almost all others need a user manual just to start using them. Programming a water bottle is not the way to do it. MyHydrate is the easiest bottle to use among all those that are in the market. The built-in LED display provides you an update of how much water you drank for the day accurately. You do not need a smartphone, a PC with quad core processor and a slew of accounts and passwords to operate this water bottle. Just look at the built-in LED array. Press the button and drink the water. You can wash it easily, it has a reminder which chimes every hour after your last sip and keeps you hydrated on your journey to losing weight or feeling better overall. I have been using one of them for at least a year and the battery has not yet run out either. This is one of the best parts of this bottle. I do not need to go to a watch repair shop every other month so that I can drink the proper amount of water. The bottle also has a protective clip on top to cover and keep the mouthpiece clean and it is a secondary protection against a leaking spout. You do not really need this as a drip protection measure as this bottle does not drip a single drop unless you hold the button down to drink; another great feature. One more point here is that this bottle only tracks what you drink out of it. Other bottles which I have used fail to do this. if you open the cap in other bottles and dump the contents, the bottle thinks that you have drunk that amount which is a false illusion of proper hydration. MyHydrate does not have this design mistake in it. What you see is what you drink... Remember, drinking water is the first step into healthy living. My wife is an emergency room nurse and she tells me that more than half of the elderly patients they treat in the ER would not have been there if they were properly hydrated. Talking about her, it is important to mention about the pregnant women. We just had a healthy and happy boy and my wife drank out of these bottles throughout her pregnancy. She had a very easy and healthy pregnancy due to proper hydration.

worked great for about 2 weeks....horrible! I want my money back but naturally there is no way to contact the seller.
