It arrived quickly, looking brand new except for a very small red dot on the bottom edge of the pages. A well received present! Review: Buy if you are a Die hard lore nerd. - Great book. Came in great condition and gives a lot of backstory that you wouldn't normally get in the game client. You can access these comics online, but having a hard copy of them is something special.

Catproved artbook!
I really like the comic book! All my favorite comics are here, the print quality is excellent. It is a pity that during transportation the corners were slightly wrinkled and there is one tear at the back. But for me these are small things

Great for Dota fans but is missing ‘Are we heroes yet?’
This is a great book to have for all die-hard dota fans, but I am quite disappointed that it did not contain the first original comic “Are we heroes yet?” Which *Spoiler for those who have not read it yet* deals with the story of how the creeps came to existence, the importance of the secret shop, roshan, and many others. It’s a missed opportunity and should’ve been added to the collection. All the comic books are free online, just search for them and you will find many links to them. It’s great to see a collection of all the compendium comics in one bundle, but they really missed out on adding the Archronicus, Are we Heroes Yet?, Siltbreaker, The Windranger/Antimage comic, and possibly add a few more original ones in the mix. I wished they just added those instead of the sketches at the end of the book so it’s a more complete collection. Lastly this book is a reminder of when the compendium was severely overhyped with comic releases, it would have been nice to see a comic for all arcanas, new hero reveals, and some immortals(like the extremely rare ones) but I doubt that they could. I hope valve comes up with a new comic in the future, or even a book, just to share more about dota’s lore, but I would rather they just make a PvE/Co-op RPG within the dota 2 client like siltbreaker/agh’s lab that can be played if you get bored of the main game that unlocks hats/personas/terrain and other goodies in the game that expands the story, probably a campaign where you go through each heroes’ story before they got caught in the war of the ancients or something. That would be a dream.
