I recently had the pleasure of working with this high-quality 3D filament, and I’m genuinely impressed. No more fumbling around for a safe spot to store it.Temperature Wizardry:Yes, it does require a slightly higher printing temperature than most standard PLA filaments. But here’s the magic: once you dial in the right temps, your prints come out flawlessly.Speaking of which, temperature towers are your best friend. I experimented, tweaked, and found my sweet spot: 70°C on the build plate and 220-235°C at the nozzle. Depending on the type of print your running adjust temps accordingly. Bridging, details, ect. Voilà! Perfect prints every time.Tougher Than Expected:This filament isn’t just another run-of-the-mill PLA. It’s got a secret weapon: a dash of resilience. It’s less brittle than other standard PLA, which means fewer accidental fractures during post-processing.I’ve tried my fair share of filaments, but this one stands tall.Now, let’s address the noob-friendliness. I bought this filament to make a custom, dark colored dragon for a client (pics above), hoping that it would give me the dimension and contract I was looking for in my project, as I had a lighter blue, glow in the dark filament that I needed something significantly darker than it, to really help this project shine... but I knew I did not want a black filament, it needed to be dark blue...Oh my, oh my... this navy blue filament by Giant Arm is yet another offering from the maker that I will be adding to my shelf of regular filaments. Opening the box, I knew that the color was exactly what I wanted and the end product was everything I hope for.Out of the box, this filament was (as always) very neatly wound, had no kinks or brittle portions of it, and it printed as cleanly as any of the best filaments I use. I really like the consistency of the Giant Arm filaments, it allows me to pop the spool into my printer and start printing with little-to-no (usually it's no) changes needed to my existing print profile. I did not experience clogs or moisture related issues when printing, and bed adhesion was a thing of beauty. At no point was I concerned whether or not this filament would stick to my bed; from the very moment the first layer was laid down, I knew my project was going to complete with any failures... something I have come accustomed to with Giant Arm's PLA.Pros: Great color, great bed adhesion, good price point, performs consistently across all their productsCons: There is only 1 set of filament holders on either side of the spool, I would like to either see one additional set on opposite side, or put 1 set every 90 degrees.

Received first spool of this filiment as a gift. From the beginning it had issues adhering to the bed, printing and more, made many adjustments and eventually got it to stick most of the time but at drastically different settings from other pla I have used. Started to use it for a large project so figured I would keep the same filiment. Bought 1 roll no real issues besides some strange surface quality. Thought it was just me so I bought anouther one. This one had those issues but also had a section of filiment that was larger then 1.75 by a large amount it jammed in my printer and was very difficult to remove. Seems like quality control is not there. After that I gave up on the filiment and decided once it was all used up I would use something else. Well it happened that the spool ended mid print and thus I switched to a different brand. Not only did that print easier but it also prined with 0 surface issues and when I started my next print I found my z axis was back on par with my other pla I have used. So I have determined it was just this brand filiment and I guess not me. Bottom line I don't see myself ever buying this brand again and I do not recommend this filiment to anyone other than maybe an expert looking for some sort of tweeking project. I have a Prusa MK3S+ and was using the grey colored PLA by this brand. So just did not work for me. Do not recommend.

Bin absolut begeistert von dem Tricolor Silk PLA Filament, sehr schöne Effekte.Ideal für wunderschöne Dekorationsstücke.Die Druckqualität ist top, das Filament fließt gleichmäßig und erzeugt saubere, präzise Details.Die Haftung ist einwandfrei. Temperatur 210 Grad Celsius und Bett 60 Grad Celsius.Ich werde mir auf jeden Fall noch weitere Farben kaufen und kann dieses Filament wirklich nur empfehlen.

Prima volta che lo compro, ha una finitura molto liscia, ed un colore molto particoare. Il modello in fot è un test di finitura e colore. I layer sono ben attaccati insieme . Colore copper/gold . Consigliato.

This is some nice filament. I got the grey variant because it looks really nice. It doesn't clog, it doesn't tangle, and it sticks to the heat bed really really well. The packaging was really nice, it came with an extra bag and it was airtightly sealed. The shipping was really fast, my order came right within 24 hours and was tossed right in front of my door, got a picture of when it was delivered too. The grey prints really nicely, and it looks really good, the colors are accurate it's really easy to tune, and it's fun to work with. I had a pack of Eryone filament, but it was really really hard to tune, it wouldn't stick to the bed and won't flow very well, and for some reason, the Eryone burnt, but with this Giantarm filament, my issues are all gone. Which was good because I didn't want to fix my printer for no reason. And this filament was, even more, cheaper than the Eryone, so it's a good bang for your buck, it works really nicely, and the customer service is fast and great!

Très bon produit, pas de problème d'adhérence, facile à imprimer avec les paramètres par défaut de 200° pour la buse et 60° pour le bed.Pas de stringing, pas de surcharge des couches.Les couleurs sont très belles, vraiment très content de mon achat. Je rachèterai certainement les autres couleurs pour essayer.

The media could not be loaded.  C'était ma première expérience avec la marque Giant Arm, et j'ai décidé de tester leur filament Gold/Rame bicolore. Je dois dire que je suis totalement épaté par la qualité exceptionnelle de ce produit ! Dès la première impression, la différence était notable. La qualité d'impression est remarquable, permettant de réaliser des pièces avec une finesse et une précision incroyables. J'ai également été surpris par la vitesse d'impression qui n'a en rien compromis la qualité du résultat final.Le rendu bicolore est juste top, offrant un aspect visuel unique et attrayant qui fait ressortir les détails des impressions avec un effet esthétique saisissant. La facilité d'utilisation de ce filament et la consistance des résultats obtenus font de ce produit un incontournable pour tous les passionnés d'impression 3D à la recherche de matériaux de qualité supérieure.
