Finally - an action camera with battery life!
I play fighting games competitively, and as I start going deeper in bracket, I've found that it's very difficult to find a camera that is both easy to mount on my person in order to easily archive unstreamed sets, and has the battery life to survive me entering multiple games that I do well in. Most other cameras can't even handle a full FT3 KoFXV set! In particular, I have struggled with knowing exactly how long I have on a given battery, or even whether the camera is even recording. I'm happy to report this camera is good at all of these things. Pros: Extreme battery life - I recorded over 90 minutes of footage continuously and the battery didn't even hit 80%. This will survive any tournament bracket, even if you're godlike. Easy to mount - the provided clips are very easy to use and shoulder-mount using other products in the store. While some adjustment may be needed to either rotate the video or to hold the camera mount on the side of the arm rather than the shoulder, neither of these is a big problem and the mount is very stable Very clear indicator of recording - No blinking lights, no turning off of the screen. The camera has an ongoing bright red color when recording, makes a loud noise on start of recording, and will not turn off the screen the whole time so you can verify recording at any time without pressing any buttons. Very effective. Fast USB transfer - You can plug in the camera over USB and you will get speeds close to microSD SDHC limits over said USB, without needing a card reader. Very practical when on the go to dump a current card. If you're the type to swap between multiple cards - this is still easy! Long record time (on 1080p60) - file size is moderate, the camera seems to be doing a little bit of encoding to help the file size. Cons: No viewfinder. Tradeoff to make it possible to monitor and have longer battery life, but you will have to experiment with settings. Menus are dense and somewhat confusing to navigate. Make sure to read the manual to understand what you're doing. Exposure is difficult to control. Even at low ISO I feel like everything is overexposed, but this might just need more work with settings. No zoom. You got an action camera - almost none of them have this anyway. No user-swappable battery - but you won't need it with how big the included one is! Overall, if you need to record fighting game sets, or any long-form content that requires consistent, long battery life (> 1 hour) and predictability, this is by far the best camera on the market.

Couldn't do anything with this camera
Image stabilisation didn't work. Unit was very hot even on standby. Battery lasted one hour. The app couldn't play back the video at the right speed. LCD too small to read.

Superb Headcam any biker needs one as standard
Ok, this will be my 3rd Drift headcam and I love them. I have 2 x Go Pro Blacks that I attatch to my Yamaha FZ1S for different recording positions when I travel around the UK, but I use my Drift headcam every day. My previous headcam is the Ghost 4k Pro, and I am only replacing it as the screen for some reason has stopped working. I can use the Drift app to still change settings but thought I would now use my 4K as a spare and treat myself again to a new headcam. Right then, my headcams have saved me twice with accidents and insurance claims. As soon as you notify your insurance company that you have video footage of your incident it is a whole new ball game for your claim. My last incident was on a roundbaout, driver jumped the junction, light spill but bike went down the road a bit. Called my insurance company, told them, they asked for witnesses, I said none, they said 'ahhh, it may prove difficult for blame if there are no witnesses' to which I replied 'oh, I have a full video if that helps?' Long story short, uploaded my video to their dropbox, 45 mins later I had a call to say the other side have accepted full liability, book my bike in for repair and no excess to pay. It catches cagers doing silly things, its worth the money to have the reassurance that you are recording everything. I always have my microphones set to the rear as it mufles my swearing a lot !! Never had any issue with the drift app, its not basic but its not over the top, You set your viewing angle you want to record via the app, I always have the lens NOT recording my speedo :-) Im used to changing and charging batteries every few days so with the longer life internal battery this will be a good thing. I dont record in 4k as the 1080P setting on Vivid is still very very good. If you have a 4k telly or laptop to view your footage then great, I dont so dont record in 4k for daily rides but will when I am touring. Well worth the money. Oh yes, to have the camera record all the time you need to put it into DVR mode, this will then overwrite your micro sd card so you dont need to keep formatting your card. Please purchase a micro SD card from Currys or Jessops and not from any auction sites, most are moody and fake, Currys and jessops are a few quid more but original and genuine cards. Get a head cam, use it every time you are riding, even if it is just to ride around the block, you press 1 button and thats it for instant record, long press to turn it off.
