If you have a boy, these will help
If you are thinking you don't need these, think again! Sure when I bought them I thought, "how cute you put it on his little pee-pee, and it has weenie dogs on it!" But I have used these countless times and they have saved me! Sure I have had my fair share of surprise pees shot up in my face but at least I have been able to avoid some. In the beginning I would just have these handy in case he peed, but now I open the diaper and immediately put this on. Sometimes it won't stay but you just have to get your own technique. I tuck it in between his thighs while I lift his legs so it doesn't roll away. Just this morning it saved me from a surprise. It certainly gets soaked though! The pee may still drip down above his thighs and get the outfit wet though. The pros would be me not needing to change the pad, wash the wall, and the baby. Sometimes he would pee in his own face and on his hair! Love these, very useful.

Does the basic job
These help us against shooting pee streams while changing diaper. To note, it doesn't stay in place with a moving baby so you have to keep a hand over it or maneuver it as you change the diaper. Baby has peed a few times with the teepee on- the teepee absorbs the pee but pee often trickles down baby's sides and gets his clothes wet anyway, which is understandable given this isn't a diaper, it's just meant to protect against pee flying everywhere. We wash these in the laundry. Been using for about 6 weeks, and so far they're holding up well.

Helpful and easy to keep around the house
I like that five were included in the package because it made it easy to keep them in multiple places. We put two in our travel baby bag and keep the others in diaper changing stations around different rooms in the house so they are always nearby when needed. The size works well for covering during diaper changes, but I found it works best when placed fully over the area so it does not slide off as easily. If our son starts kicking around a lot, it can fall over or shift, so timing and placement matter. We started learning the moments when he is most likely to pee during changes, which helps a lot. Every baby is a little different, so parents will probably figure out their own routine after a few uses. The material is soft and gentle enough for baby skin, and I like that they are washable and easy to throw into the laundry. That said, they do show wear somewhat quickly after repeated washing and use. I also think the base could be a little sturdier since they can tip over fairly easily during active diaper changes. Appearance is simple and functional, and overall these have been a useful addition to our baby supplies. Definitely not something you absolutely need, but they have already helped us avoid a few surprise accidents during diaper changes.

very cute, doesn't serve much of a purpose beyond novelty
I had heard about this funny and cute idea, had to get some (just in case!). Honestly not a "must have" for baby goods -- you end up not using them and even when you do don't need them, a Murphy's Law type of situation, y'know? These are definitely newborn size, don't fit beyond that. But then again, it's only a newborn who is less squirmy and will "let" you put on a pee-pee teepee and also a newborn who pees all the time and randomly. Great because they are washable in the machine, and indeed sturdy enough to last a long time, also very cute. Basically these are the perfect gift "addition" to another present at a baby shower. Makes the mom laugh and gives her warning about what "trajectories" to avoid in her near future!

For the sprinkling wee-wee
Having an infant boy brings about a whole different set of challenges during diaper changes. While he doesn't have all the folds and creases that a girl has, there are certainly some obstacles that require attention by the diaper changer, which is typically me. After hearing of the times I peed in my mom's face, I wanted to avoid this from happening to me. I first saw Pee-pee Teepees in a boutique and thought it was a clever idea. I don't imagine it would be hard to fabricate these on your own, but I am just not quite the crafty type to go to this type of trouble, plus, the Teepee's have cute designs, like these ducks! These are by no means a total pee catcher, but they keep the sprinkles from taking flight and hitting any innocent bystanders or nearby furniture. At the worst, if my son does start peeing during the diaper change, the Teepee helps with damage control. Additionally, my little boy hates air conditioned diaper changes, so I imagine these little Teepees create at least a bit of warmth for the baby's bits. All-in-all, I have no ragrets about this purchase, not even one letter.

Great invention for boy moms
Very absorbent, but a little small. Wish they held more urine but mostly effective. Design is cute and easy to wash. Great invention, you just have to remember to use them.

Prefect gag gift for first time parents
Having two boys already..this is pointless BUT it is a cute gag shower or even gender reveal gift. My best friend had a gender reveal that I wasn’t t able to be there for. I had been told the sex before hand by her mother and was able to send them for her to open after she found out the gender. So it’s the first gift for her baby boy and something to giggle about.

Doesn't work for babies who kick and squirm during changes
I can see these working great if your baby stays laying on its back the whole time during a changing. First time I used it my baby decided to roll and it fell off and he peed all over the place. If your baby stays calm and doesnt kick or squirm around, I can see it working, it just didnt really for me and my baby.
