Corel Painter 2018 Digital Art Suite for PC/Mac - Education Edition (Old Version)

Already owned the full licensed version of Corel Painter 2018 - for Windows. Didn't own a Mac, so never thought to download that version in addition to the Windows version when I originally purchased this software from Corel. Fast forward to today and I bought a Mac. Except Corel now has Painter 2019 out for sale (which I don't want to buy, not enough new things to warrant the upgrade) and they have removed Corel Painter 2018 trial downloads from their website. So I couldn't download the trial version directly from Corel and just enter my full license number on the Mac. Yes, I could have downloaded a copy of Painter 2018 from one of those crack torrent sites for free, but didn't want to take the chance on those copies also having viruses embedded in them. So I was beyond thrilled to find this Student Edition for sale and at a great price. Installed it on the Mac, put my full license number in, instead of the student license provided with this version, and I am good to go. But if you just want it for the Student version, also highly recommend for that as well. Very grateful to have found this - thanks!

Disc arrived on time. I had no issues registering. Support was great to make sure educational would go through. Online was a better price at the time. My daughter who is a student loves it. She was able to purchase additional brushes from in the program. When reinstalling the program to get purchased brushes just go in and recognize purchases and it shows up... you can alao import your own. This version has been tested with a Watcom Intuos 3 pen tablet and a Huion H640P pen tablet. FYI You can not have Wacom and Huion drivers installed at the same time. Neither tablet pressure sensitivity will work. One or the other. This is her first drawing she did no instruction or looking things up and she has never used any corel products prior. Only simple free online programs. Within Corel Painter 2018 you can purchase tutorials... BUT... Go strait to the actual 3rd party site by searching the tutorial name and get them for way way cheaper and there are plenty of free ones else where.

Probably a nice program if you have years of experience with it. It's not intuitive whatsoever. Get LOTS of training on this, or you'll spend months of wasted time.

Wonderful program, well laid out and easy to customize. Amateur artist, but sofware savy, so enjoy flexibility in interface. User can choose from a number of preset layouts if they just want to get started using the program. A lot of video tutorials available.

Loaded on Windows 10 flawlessly. Very pleased with the first day's use of the software. Far better than several other software paint/drawing I have been using! Will update this review in several weeks.

over priced. junk. it is not worth the money.

Would be nice if I didn't have to reinstall every couple of days.

This has everything our 15 yr old needs or wants. Great software

I have Painter for 10 years and the new one (2018) is beyond great. It has the help to bring of youtube. It is an awesome program.

I am a beginner and this program promise to be excellent to expand my limits. The tutorials are very helpful
