These are really cool little lights. They are made of pretty thick glass. I was hesitant reading the reviews that they were not bright. Maybe because my expectations were low, they ended up being brighter than I expected. We have 2 strands which are hung diagonally back and forth under our pergola and over our outdoor dining table. 1 strand for each half of the space. Total square footage they cover is probably about 50 sq ft and they are hanging 7 ft up maybe 4 ft over the table. Here is the deal, they are bright enough that you could read a book. Not super comfortably, mind you, but if I were to add another strand or two for sure. You can dine pretty comfortably under them, although we add a couple of candles in the center of the table to add just a bit more light so that faces and the dining set up is a bit more lit. You would probably do this anyway with any lighting. Anyway, I think if you were trying to light a large open space, or an outdoor dance floor or something this will not meet your needs, but for a healthy glow and to add character to an outdoor space, they work great.When ours arrived, one of the 2 strands was not working. Vendor was super responsive and rather than bothering with a return, just sent a new strand within days. I don't know if we just chanced upon a bad set or if this is indicative of a quality control issue but we plan to order a bunch more so will update as we learn more. The solar panels themselves seem a little less solid than the lights, so will see what happens over time but for now everything working great. We have our solar panels south facing with no obstruction and they stay lit nearly all night after soaking up the California sun during the day.The only thing I would change is that the solar panels are designed for use on stakes (which come with the package) for use in the ground. Since our lights are hanging seven feet up we put the solar panels up on the roof where they get more sun. They are not designed with any mechanism for this type of mounting so we just jury rigged together some light hardware. The panels are SUPER light, so you have to work a bit on the set up to make sure the wind isn't going to alter the direction they face.Otherwise, great purchase.

I love my solar lights & our yard can be seen by NASA most of the time. Added these this summer to go over our new arbor. They look very nice but seems they don't charge up enough to last the night. We are in Denver, so can't get much more intense sun than that. Also put in good solar batteries. So maybe 4 to 6 hours is all to be expected. But these are very pretty lights.

I am very disturbed by my purchases. I bought 4 strings of white. They were to white. Almost blue. So, I purchased 3 more strings in warm white. 2 strings look yellow and one is the perfect warm white. Needless to say, I can't hang them because they are two different colors. I hope someone will contact me, because I can't get a contact number.

I thought these lights were a little bigger but they look beautiful and have different modes would buy again I call them the ghost lights

Very pretty soft yellow cracked looking globes. It says they are 19' long BUT the lights are only 14' long with 5' of just wires that go to the solar battery.

These are wonderful little lights. They are bigger than Christmas lights -- about size of a quarter.. We put them up yesterday afternoon, and this morning at 6am they were still bright. Not bright enough to read by, but bright enough for decoration.

Sometimes they work and sometimes don't.. Not bright

No option for constant on. Stopped working after only 2 months. Junk.
