Spacious enough to fit in a 20oz bottle and a teen/adult lunch. After putting in a bottle of water, sandwich, chips, apple, fruit snacks and granola bar and an ice pack on bottom there was still room to put more if wanted. Love the seperate zip pocket in the front, you can put money in there for vending machines or lunch cards etc and they will not get damaged as there is the insulation between the pocket and main compartment. This has held up pretty well, there’s a few dings on the pleather part, but I’m sure my son swings this around and is a bit rough with his. I have not tried putting a bento box in it but once would easily fit in this. Zippers and stitching are good and padded handle is nice!
