Terrible trackpad / touch pad, great case and keyboard
I got this because I wanted the complete keyboard and trackpad / touch pad laptop experience for my tablet, and it's one of two choices as of this writing - and the only one with backlit keys. So the trackpad is a key feature for me. And it fails at its mission.Tracking is great with virtually zero perceived lag. It's very sensitive and, given its placement, often needs to be turned off for typing (there's a handy keyboard shortcut for this) (the placement is standard design, so no points deducted here; I dream of the day somebody makes cases with a retractable pad that slides or folds out to the side!).It's the click. It's absolutely wretched. It's far too easy to accidentally click the pad at the bottom, and literally impossible to click it at the top. The whole pad is clearly hinged at the top, and it's a continuous transition from impossible, to impossible-not-to, from top to bottom, with the Goldilocks "just right" spot sitting around two thirds of the way down.I hoped in vain that I merely received a defective unit, and reached out to the company. After a few days with no response, I sent another message and, in the meantime, ordered an exchange. The company replied, this time, and said this problem is unavoidable at this price point (and it IS a crazy-good, amazing deal for every other part of this product) - that this is a necessary outcome of the design and that all trackpads are like this until you get up into very expensive products, like premium laptops (to quote Dwight Shrute: "FALSE." I've got a $30 trackpad right here that is as consistent and even as the one on my MacBook Pro). And sure enough, the replacement arrived with the very same issue. So, trackpad = FAILCustomer service = FAILHowever...Case quality, material, design and finish = WINKeyboard, backlight, typing and function = WIN, mostly. The case feels amazing and has a luxuriously superb texture that delights the senses and grips everything like a gorilla. The downside of this is that it catches dirt, dust, lint, ANYTHING. Did you have a snack on that table last night and didn't realize what a messy pig you actually are? This case will tell you. But for me, it's a worthy price to pay for the wonders of this material. The keyboard is similarly high quality in look and feel (and is covered in the same material). Keystrokes have a great feel and excellent responsiveness, with only your bottom-end budget Samsung tablet struggling to keep up. The backlight is exquisite, though some of the seven colors are very similar to one another, and some wider variation would be nice. The three brightness levels are perfect, too, from very dim and subtle to bright bright bright. Battery life seems incredible and I haven't had to charge it yet after weeks of use since an initial complete charge. The keyboard misses a few baskets, however. Most frustrating is the absence of an ESC key. I use "escape" CONSTANTLY on keyboards, and I believe that's the norm for most people. Here, you have to use a combo shortcut - ALT and delete or backspace, I think - and you'll clench your teeth and grunt "WHY?" every time you have to do it. And on this note, the ALT / CMND / CTRL keys are all over the place on this board - not literally, as they're grouped next to the space bar as expected... but look at them. Inconsistent on each side, ALT closest to the space bar and functioning as "command" or "control" for half the shortcuts, with that random Windows button doing the job for the remaining shortcuts. Be prepared to relearn your shortcuts and completely destroy your muscle memory upon returning to your computer. It's a great keyboard in every other sense, with the expected (and ACTUALLY unavoidable in design) cramped layout of a ten-inch keyboard... but the flaws are enough that, well, I subconsciously chose to type this epic saga of a review on my phone. So overall, it's a MEH. And in how great some aspects of this product are juxtaposed with the massively disruptive flaws, it's a hair-puller of a let down. Being the only keyboard case for the 2022 Tab A8 on the market, under $50, with a backlit keyboard and trackpad, I've chosen to accept it and keep it, seeing it as appropriately matched to the janky yet wonderful tablet that is the new Tab A8. But there is a huge opportunity here for a manufacturer to smooth out these links and offer THE PERFECT keyboard case. Until then, this is NOT it, but it'll have to do.

A great case
This case seems to provide great protection for my tablet, although it is bulky, especially with the keyboard. And that brings me to my only issue with the case. The magnetic tab won't stay closed when I have the keyboard packed. I've tried setting the keyboard in different positions but I think the tab needs to be a little longer. The keyboard works well, almost instantly.Take a picture of the little card with the codes and you won't have any issues.

So far so good
I just got the chance to set this up and so far so good. It has a spot to charge the S-Pen with a flap to cover it so it doesn't fall off, which is something my much more expensive case didn't have. The keyboard comes off easily so you can stand the tablet up but the magnet is also strong enough to dangle it without falling off. I charged it fully (it comes with a USB-C) and it connected right away. The instructions are pretty clear. The only thing so far that I can think of being a detriment for some people is that it's fairly weighty for a case.

FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T LOSE THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET!
This keyboard from Doohoeek (what does that word even mean?!) is MILES ahead of the Samsung branded accessory keyboard models! I paid $170 for the Samsung Galaxy branded Tab S8+ keyboard and was thoroughly disappointed. Fortunatly, it was fully refundable. THIS keyboard however, is one third the cost, and has everything you could hope for in a tablet/case designed for the S8+. The keyboard backlight is amazingly helpful in a dim environment. The seven color (and 4 brightness) options mean you can have your personal color choice at the touch of a couple of keys. The trackpad works as well as ANY I have EVER used, and the numerous options are simply too many to include in this review. I must offer a warning however, as if you like to fool around with the keyboard settings on your tablet, it is possible to completly hose the way this tablet interfaces with the keyboard (to the point where the keyboard types incorrect letters vs what the keys say). I accidentally did this, and wound up exchanging it for another which also opperated incorrectly until I reset all of my keyboard settings to their default. Also, as others have mentioned, it is impossible to find another copy of the enclosed instruction booklet anywhere online including the company's website. Therefore you will need to be sure to keep yours in a safe place, or better still, still take a picture of it and save the file in several locations because you will DEFINITLY need it in the future.

Nice, but heavy
I really wanted an affordable, lightweight keyboard case. The keyboard was great. Super lightweight, but the case felt so heavy. More than I could comfortably support.

So far good product for the price
The ease of use. Back-lit keys are a must.

Everything I wanted...
It provides protection for my Samsung Android tablet, a stand for horizontal use and a nice back-lit keyboard with a track pad. It fits my Samsung A8 tablet perfectly.I've used the back-lit Bluetooth keyboard for hours. I've never had any issue with battery life. The keyboard has much great battery life than the tablet. The only drawback... it makes a very thin tablet thick, but not excessively. But, thats because it has keyboard included.

Love it
Tablet fit my galaxy tab a8 perfectly, no sliding around in case. Keyboard works great. Love the key pad, main reason I bought this one was for the key pad.Can be a little unstable at times but when sitting down flat on table it is fine

Received a defective product that doesn't connect to my tablet
Please avoid ordering from India for two reasons:1. Delivery takes u reasonably long and there is no clarity on returns policy2. Product received is faulty and you end up wasting your money and time both

A keyboard case without a keyboard! -Edit - Amazon customer service replaced it
It came with a charging cord and the case but no keyboard. I ordered this to use on vacation and now I can't. Incredibly disappointed.Edit: amazon refunded within an hour and helped me reorder so I'd receive it right before my trip, and this one did have the keyboard. Track pad and keyboard are both very responsive and the material is much better quality than what I expected for the price.
