AMAZING YOGA MAT
I practice hot power vinyasa 5 days a week. Sweaty hands and feet, sweat dripping on the mat, quick flows from pose to pose. A mat with no slippage is an absolute must. After many years of heavy use my trusty Manduka mat finally started to disintegrate. I had to buy a new yoga mat. I read many online reviews and narrowed it down to the Yoloha and one other highly rated mat. I bought both to compare. The Yoloha cork mat is by far the best mat I have ever practiced with. Hands and feet were firmly rooted throughout the entire practice, no slipping, even when super sweaty. The cork absorbs the moisture, so the surface never feels wet or slick. The cork texture feels great on the hands and feet -- the other highly rated mats that are designed to be non-slip had a rubbery or 'chemically' sort of feel for me. I initially hesitated because of the cost, since this is certainly one of the most expensive mats out there. I have no regrets, this mat is well worth the price.

Buy this mat!!! You will not regret it!!!
***Update-after owning this for over a year and a half and I still love this mat and it has not started breaking down with use ranging from 4-6 days a week! I also get tons of compliments about it.***I love this mat! I have had the same mat for several years and it started deteriorating and felt it was time to upgrade to a new mat. I was doing research as to the top mats with padding and grip being my top concerns when I came across this mat. The reviews were excellent and several articles I found also gave it good reviews so I closed my eyes and ignored the price while hitting the buy button, hoping for the best and that I made the right decision.I know this mat is expensive but so far, I feel it’s worth it and have ZERO buyers remorse. It has a light odor but basically your nose needs to be on the mat to really smell it. I love the size of it. I’m 5’6 and though not tall I would still feel like I was hanging off the standard size mat during certain poses. It’s well padded and grips very well. Oh and it lays flat OUT OF THE BOX! Yes you read that right...I don’t know about everyone else but the ends rolling on my other mat while I was trying to workout was always very distracting and annoying to me. That has not been a problem with this mat from the time I’ve taken it out of the box and every subsequent use (and I roll it back up after every use). And finally, it’s beautiful in its simplicity. The colors are complimentary and not outrageous so as not to distract you during your workout or practice. Plus with all this awesomeness, it’s also eco friendly! Great Job and would absolutely buy again.

Perhaps the Finest Yoga Mat I have Experienced - Six Stars!
The Yoloha Cork Yoga Mat is without a doubt the best Yoga Mat I have used. As soon as I used it the very first time, I could immediately feel a deep connection to the ground; thus, providing me with a better yoga experience that I had attained.Yoloha advertises this mat as Sustainable, Soft, Durable, Moisture Absorbing, and Non-Slipping I wasn't sure if I could find a mat with all those qualities but was I ever happily surprised to discover that all of their claims were true. The mat is thick enough for me, soft but yet extremely firm (I am 6 Foot, 82 KG), moisture absorbing so well that I did not need my hand towel to wipe the perspiration off the mat during my workouts, and the mat never slipped or moved when changing positions or pushing form extremely angles and degrees. Before I purchased the Yoloha Cork Mat, I read several other reviews. Some mentioned the odor of the Mat's rubber backing or the cork. I found no such problem at all. I rather liked the clean scent of the cork and the rubber was not offensive at all.Again, I cannot say enough about the quality of the Mat. After ripping mats, having them slide out from under me, it was a thrill to find a product that actually surprised the Company's advertised claims. If possible to give the Yoloha Cork Yoga Mat Six Stars - I would without hesitation.

Lots of grip with a slight oder
It is expensive as far as yoga mats go but I do like that I never need an extra yoga towel on top. I use this for hot yoga then followed by a circuit training class so lots of sweat. I never loose grip regardless of how much I'm sweating. It does have a slight odor to it that may be attributed to the natural cork. I wipe it down and allow it to dry and also bought a spray to help and it has been great so far. I hope it lasts me many years.

Arrived damaged, Yoloha team did not help
This is a “handmade” product, which I guess means they are okay sending out damaged products. Surprised a company of this size and alleged quality would try selling something like this

Nice mat
Love the look of the mat, and it is very grippy. However, in a hot class with lots of sweat, the mat gets pretty slippery and you have to watch where you place your hands and feet. I keep a towel nearby to blot the sweat puddles, and the mat gets its grip back fairly quickly.

No slip, top or bottom!!
I do a hot flow/vinyasa daily and have used many different yoga mats. I sweat buckets and hate towels because they get bunched up. Many yoga mat companies advertise non-slippery surface. I bought a $130 Manduka mat that was slippery even when not wet. The Jade was better, but still too slippery for my liking plus it moved too much on the floor. Lululemon was ok, but deteriorated after a while and I had to toss it. So, I saw this ad for Yoloha Native Cork Yoga mat. It is supposed to get less slippery with wetness and they do not recommend using a towel. I've used it 4 times so far and it is without a doubt the best mat I have ever used. It is absolutely firm (no slipping or sliding) on the slick wood floor and provides an uninterrupted, positive grip in the hottest, wettest conditions. My only hope is that the surface does not deteriorate over the long haul, but supposedly they guarantee their mats indefinitely. Oh, plus it is super light weight.
