Very good product, definetely I will but it again. For years I have been looking for a laundry detergent with less chemicals in it and this is the best I have tried so far. Its smell is natural and not very strong, just the way I like it. It washes well my clothes and even removes light small stains if I use a 60 degrees washing cycle. It is quite concentrated so I don't need to use a lot for a single wash, hence it lasts for some time and is very good value for money. My skin does not get any rashes after using this laundry detergent, which is great. I live in UK so for me it works very well as it is manufactured in UK, and is a planet friendly option for my shopping. And most importantly for me, this product is paraben and sulphate free and of 99,1% natural origin. I bought it in a small bottle a few months ago just to give it a try. I was very please with it and now I bought a 5l container. Very good price especially if buying the large container. Overall, I highly recommend the product, I will but it again for myself and I am looking forward to trying more of their products. Thank you, Minimal! Lovely product fantastic quality smell lovely great price. Really lovely only use a small cap full for full load its really good quality. Our skin has been so much better not as itchy and my hands not as sore when removing from washer. Lasts for quite a long time definitely buying again. Great for the environment and for us. Removed stubborn stains really well. Great freshness.

Washes well, has a nice delicate scent and washing is fresh and clean. I got this to wash baby clothes in preparation for his arrival in hopes its more delicate than most popular brands. I like that it is better for the environment too. I will continue to use this for good now! If buying the large refill amount that I did, I'd recommend filling a small bottle to make it easier to use, you can get some cool bottles to store it in for easy use.

I'll start with the economy of this product. Our purchase of 5l laundry detergent has lasted 2 mucky people with a mud-loving dog a year. Our use of this product has been supplemented by the occasional BIO laundry detergent wash when the dog has rolled in fox poo for obvious reasons, but for most washes, the only additional additive we've used has been the occasional splosh of fresh pet disinfectant in the detergent drawer for items like the dog's bedding or particularly sweaty sports or socks washes. Occasionally, we have used a bit of elbow grease spray cleaner, or Smol stain remover on the odd curry-cooking-night accident (think grease, turmeric, or tomato stains on white T-shirts!). It's advertised as being for 165 washes, and I would say that's pretty accurate. We possibly eke out a few more washes because we are fortunate enough to live in a soft water area. I do prefer using a liquid over pods because you can adjust the amount of detergent to best fit the grubbiness and size of your individual wash load. This product doesn't clog the dispenser drawer like powders either, which is great because it means one less task on the to-do list. I'm pretty impressed by the sheer economy of this product! We don't bother with fabric conditioner, as we have sensitive skin that's prone to being triggered by excessive perfumes. The only issue I have with our last purchase having lasted a year is the lack of variety for my nose, but it's swings and roundabouts, and the sheer convenience of only having to remember to purchase this once a year wins out over buying the smaller-sized 1-litre 33 wash size container for me. I have sensitive skin, and its been nice to be able to scrub my smalls at the sink without fear of my skin reacting, cos there's nothing worse than exzema cracked and bleeding knuckles mid-winter. It has decent cleaning for a non-bio, none of which can perform miracles on genuine filth, or bad stains. The Fresh Linen mild scent is great "clean" smell for anyone who is not fond of the chemically pongs that permeate many non-eco products these days, but you will need scent boosters/fabric conditioner if you are a fan of very strongly scented laundry. I also tried the dragon fruit variety before this one, and tbh would purchase that again in preference to the Linen because the scent is to my nose just that bit stronger and really nice, whereas the Linen we have just gotten to the end of is a bit bland and generic to my mind. My next purchase will be the Jasmine because I am a huge fan of vanilla scents, so I'm hoping for great things from that one. I find the consistency is easy to refill my smaller bottle and to use a pump mechanism on the 5 L container, and for measuring the amount I want to use in the washing machine detergent drawer. It's an effective cleaner for a non-bio, and I'd happily recommend it to any new mother looking for something without nasties for their tiny tots, or for anyone involved in fragile elder care. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can't tackle the very worst of bad stains on its own. Regarding the zero-waste aspect. You have to go to the Miniml website and get a code to be able to return 4 containers at once, postage-free, so that they can be washed and reused for the benefit of future customers. For us, that's fine because we also use the multi-purpose cleaning spray and washing-up liquid from the same brand. You do need somewhere to store the empties, though (we pop them in the shed), as well as the 5L container you are currently using, which could be an issue for some households. It's also very helpful to have a funnel (get one in the £1 shop!) or a pump (these can be purchased directly from Miniml) for ease of decanting into a smaller bottle for everyday use. The container is heavy when full! So if you have mobility/strength issues, investing in a pump will be a worthwhile investment long term. Minimal do 1 litre forever bottle containers, and purchasing one of these first to trial this product may be a good idea if you can't decide upon a scent. For smaller households, the Fresh Linen scent is only available in one-litre reusable pouches, which again can be sent back free of charge via the code on the Miniml website. It's a great way to go plastic-free/zero waste without pain.

Absolutely great! My Washingmashine was flowing over a couple of times, you really need less than you think! But it cleans even my dog stuff perfectly on a quick wash, the smell is nice and comfy and does not linger in your nose. I feel good using it every single time

I’ve been using this laundry detergent for a few weeks now and overall I’m really happy with it. The 5L refill is generous and has lasted a good while even with regular family washing, which feels like great value for the amount. The first thing I noticed was how gentle it is. The natural formula doesn’t have a super strong scent, which I appreciate because it doesn’t overpower and our children don't really like the typical strong washing smells. It still gets clothes clean, even on everyday loads with dirt and food marks, without needing any stain removers or anything which is great. I’ve used it on a mix of cottons, synthetics and delicates, including lighter coloured clothes and towels, and haven’t seen any fading or dulling. It rinses well and doesn’t leave any sticky residue on fabrics which I have found can be a problem with heavier detergents. It’s also quite concentrated so I don’t need to use much per wash, and that’s helping the bottle last longer than I expected. I did have to double check the dosing guide the first time, but now I am used to how much you need to put in the results have been consistent. If you’re looking for a natural formula that still cleans effectively and is easy on skin and and smells just right then I think this is a solid choice. I would buy this washing liquid again and would recommend it to anyone who prefers gentler natural laundry products.

The packaging is eco-friendly, the product is vegan, cruelty-free, and free from sulphates, parabens, and phosphates. It arrived quickly in sturdy, well-designed packaging. At its current price for 5 L of detergent, it also offers good value for money considering its size and the number of washes it promises. However, when it comes to performance, I was let down. I tested it on some common stains like ketchup, mustard, and coffee. After one wash, the stains were still visible, albeit fainter. A second wash made them even less noticeable, but they still weren't gone. It took four or five washes, with the help of Vanish, to finally get the clothes clean. This isn't what I expect from a laundry detergent, especially one that's supposed to be both eco-friendly and effective. Even more disappointing was the scent, or lack thereof. The liquid smells pleasant enough in the bottle, but once the clothes are out of the machine, there's barely any scent left. I even tried using more detergent, but that just created more suds and left a white residue on my black clothes. In summary, while I'm grateful to Miniml for their eco-conscious efforts, I can't recommend this product. It simply doesn't clean well enough to justify its purchase.
