Is this from a cruel fur farm? I really hope it's not cause I just bought one.

No baby it's fake and my daughter loves it

Probably not. My daughters fell apart by only wearing it. Never washed it.

How long is the tail?

I have several fox tail keychains. They range in length from about 12 inches to 16 inches.
