The Andalucia Guide (Interlink Guide)

Really detailed history & descriptions. Could be a text book. I've spent many years in Andalucia & everything in the book fit well in my knowledge of the area & added lots to my understanding of the culture. It is perhaps a bit dated, but still well worth the cost.

The guide contains an excellent historical and cultural background. This was an interesting read for a visitor who has been a few times and is looking to do more than scratch the surface. Downsides are that some sections need updating and it is Sevilla-centric.

Wow! I was only going to thumb through this book. Picked a paragraph and haven't been able to put it down. More than I had expected. The backgrounds of poets and painters have changed the way I will look at Spanish art for the better.

Good product at a good price!

This is by far the best guidebook to Andalucia I have ever read. I am a frequent traveler to southern Spain and I've read most of the guides on the area. This one surpasses them by leaps and bounds. It is a well-written, meticulously-researched, and entertaining. It is truly a joy to read.

I started this book, and it seems really good, culturally sensitive, knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the print is too small for me. Does anyone know of a book seller that gives the pica size so that we don't waste our money ordering books with print that is too small? How hard would it be for Amazon to provide this info, I wonder.

This is such a different and fun guidebook.If you expect it to be traditional it will not do, but if you are looking for more info outside mainstream; you will love the adventures this book presents!
