Hreat bag, great buy!!!
Update Sept 2017:So far this year my pup and I have taken about 15 rountrips this year and we have about 5 more to go for this year. She knows this bag is her house and it means travel! I have a 7 lb. Chiweenie with a very long body. She lays out comfortably in this bag. People stop and ask me constantly about this bag. Best doggy backpack on the market!! It has great ventilation, lots of strap options, and is pretty sturdy. There are 3 improvements I wish could be made. 1.) I wish the logo was in a better spot so it could show when wearing as a backpack. 2.) I wish there was a bigger velcro storage pocket. 3.) I wish it came in hot pink!! (Pink is our fav color!) But these little things won't let me keep my pup from her favorite bag!_______________________________I am actually en route using this product for the first time. First, i have to say this is a pretty good product. It could be bothersome to some pets that you have to flip it on its side. The small mat is included could be more absorbent in case of an accident. The bag does have a treat pocket in front and a mesh side pocket which helps carry a few things but if the front pocket were bigger you could fit a few more emergency things you might need when travelling like wipes in case of accidents.I will say the bag is of quality construction otherwise and comes with about 5 different strap options. I specifically chose this back because of the backpack option and this works well. I also love that all the zippers have little buckles to close to prevent escape! I also like the seat belt buckles this makes it easy to strap her in and out of the car.So overall this is a pretty good bag for dogs that dont mind the flip shift. The bag has lots of height for the dogs to stand and move around. This bag is a really good size for Id say...pets up to 15 maybe even 20 pounds. I travel extensively with my pup and would vote myself as a tester for a shorter prototype should one ever come to fruition.Update: I received an email from the seller/manufacturer and a smaller version that would better fit small or toy breeds much better and will likely slide right under an airline seat. Im veey exxited to hear that! This bag is really good construction and a great backback so I will be happy to receive the petite version of this bag! Super fast response from seller! Much appreciated!

Well made and comfortable to carry
Medium is the perfect size and very comfortable for my beautiful 7.5 pound little lady. She loves this carrier as her happy place and has clocked a lot of miles riding in it. It is easy to carry via a hand strap and also has a shoulder strap but our favorite is as a backpack. We do a lot of hiking and biking and as a backpack it is well balanced with a chest strap, the straps are ergonomic and padded to the point you don't even notice you're carrying it.The carrier has interior removeable rigid plastic frames so it won't collapse like others we've tried. The zippers are all well-made and operate smoothly with zipper locks. There is a pocket large enough to hold the backpack straps when you're not using them. Heavy duty D-rings to clip the straps to along with tags, collapsible dishes, etc.I added a piece of 1" foam in a travel size pillow case covered by a sherpa throw to the bottom for her comfort.I purchased this carrier Aug 2023; I see no fraying fabric, loose stitching, etc. It is our favorite of all we've tried and since purchasing it we have used it exclusively. I would certainly buy again.

Best use - car carrier
I would actually give this a 4.5 star rating. There are indeed six ways to use this pet carrier. The construction material is good quality and it well made, the instruction video was very helpful. Our 16 week old, 8 Lb Shih Tzu has taken advantage of ★BACKPACK PET CARRIER ★FRONT PACK PET CARRIER ★SHOULDER BAG CARRIER ★HAND BAG CARRIER ★CAR SEAT CRATE. I doubt we will ever use the 2 position option as he has a short snout, and recent scares with airlines and short snout dogs make us wary. Here is how I rate the carrier in the other 5 uses.Backpack - this is the reason for the 4.5 instead of a 5, there were several issues. 1. Cinching the shoulder straps must be done with care as they easily twist and fold getting stuck in the buckle, 2. the bottom D rings are uncomfortable on my back. Other than that it works well as a backpack and Bailey slept during most of a 5 mile hike.Front pack - works just fine though I cannot imagine ever using it that way except during training.Shoulder Bag - my 6 year old grandson loved this feature as it was the best way for Bailey with his smaller frame.Handbag - Undoubtedly the feature used most often, very convenient for taking Bailey on short outings and into stores (As of now, we have not had anyone object to taking him into their store as long as he was in the carrier).Car seat - this is were this carrier shines, Bailey simply loves to travel in the car crate, he sleeps most of the time, of course. When we say "Let's go", he dances into the carrier and waits for us to close it. The manner it straps in to the seat belt is very secure. I would recommend this carrier. We are hoping Bailey will still be comfortable in it when full grown (which should be about double his current size and weight).
