Easy to use and good quality output
I have used the RS40 to scan a4 documents to date 600 plus no miss feeds, all working well, once I realised that you have to put them in upside down I am using PDFgear software, and the image quality both colour and black & white is very good. On some of the documents there were corrections written in pencil and very faded I was surprised that this was not a problem and all pencil marks were easy readably . If I had used my flat bed scanner to do the 600 pages it would have taken me forever, I am very pleased with my purchase .

Der Scanner arbeitet auch in höchster Scanqualität sehr zügig und zuverlässig. Wir haben ausschließlich Canon-Geräte im IT-Einsatz und wurden auch mit dem Scanner nicht enttäuscht. Die Software unter MacOS Tahoe 26.1 lief nicht sofort und war etwas Einstellungstüftelei. Hier sollte Canon lieber richtig geprüfte Software anbieten, die man über den App-Store laden kann. Wegen dem Softwarethema „nur“ 4 Sterne.
