Very useful
Second one I have purchased in past five years. Works great. A lot easier to use than replacing string when it constantly breaks off Definitely faster and easier to replace string

My second one.
If anybody would try one of these attachments and realize how much line is saved and time fooling with winding up a fresh spool they'd be Sold Out ! My old one was getting weak in the spring tension after more than 10 years. The new pieces of line were flying out in use. This replacement is perfect and holds the plastic line tightly. I watch these guys bouncing their spools and then restringing them. So much wasted time. I can do My whole yard with 4 pieces 12 inches long. So easy to squeeze the two buttons and insert a fresh string. It comes with detailed instructions with pictures and fits so many brands. I use an Echo. Buy it again ? Yes I will years from now.

Works fine but can use a few improvements
First improvement would be the bolt insert could use a metal lining to prevent the bolt from "slipping" if you over tighten it...mine did that today...but it seems to be holding fine. I guess the best advice I could give would be to don't tighten it too tight. 2nd thing...the springs to push to insert the line into the head are waaaaaay difficult. I realize that it probably needs this kind of tightness/tension to keep the string in place but I think maybe an alternative way for people who have a hard time pushing this spring in. I had an older neighbor try it and they had the same reaction..."wow...man that's difficult". I like it...works fine...Installed it in less than 5 minutes on a cheapo Wally World junko weed trimmer. No issues.

Great idea
This is a great idea by someone. I’v worn out several of these over the years. Of all the different types out there I like this one the best. You do have to have strong thumbs to push that button down to get the strings to feed through. Other than that, I’m happy with it.

What more do I have to say
Long lasting easy loading a great product. I have one I’ve had for 15 years. I bought this one for a neighbor who saw mine and said he wished he had one.

Over all great product - but can be made outstanding if made in durable metal.
I bought several of these for my STHL FS56. For practical ease of use 5 stars! So why did I rate it as a three star? It would be a five star across the board of it were made of metal rather than plastic. I found that this plastic housing wears especially when trimming along sidewalks and paved laneways. I would and have ordered 5 in case they stop manufacturing them. They are pretty pricey which is also a negative. I removed the guard where the plastic twine spins around and yes there is more items being kicked up but I always wear a mesh face guard and long pants doing this makes it pain free from flying debris. Hope this helps you!
