A Very Durable Patch Work
Our small apt. co-op has an expired roof, collects ponding water, has blisters, and there had already been multiple patch works to address leaks, so we needed a new roof, though others in the building insisted that the roof was fine, but something clearly had to be done. I learned about GACO and ordered about 8 or so of these white 5 gallon pails to get our flat roof coated in it in 2013. After 8 years its worked pretty good, even though its not advertised to address a failing roof. I haven't had any roof leaks in my apartment since then. I'm hoping that the GACO roof will be the bridge to the new roof in the future, and so far so good. I was happy with this purchase.

Good Stuff
Product is thinner than expected so it is really easy to apply evenly. The container is only about 2/3 full so it was easy to stir without splashing product all over the place. It did take longer than I thought to set up. Directions say wait 3 to 12 hours between coats but it took much longer to set up. First coat was still pretty tacky after 8 hours on a 70 degree day with humidity less than 20%. Fortunately I was coating a trailer roof and could reach to apply second coat from a ladder. 24 hours later it was still tacky and a few drips I got on the trailer sides peeled off easily. It took a few days to cure to the point it could be walked on. Once cured it appears to be tightly bonded to the aluminum roof and looks great.

Great coating for my RV
I used this to recoat my RV rubber roof. It went on very easily and is pure white. The roof looks like new and is bright white and very smooth.
