elago® Aluminum Mouse Pad for Computers & laptops (Hot Pink)

I won't go over much of the same stuff that other reviewers have said, except to say that some early reviewers complained about the awful texture... Perhaps that was an issue with the product over a year ago? The mouse pad I received has almost exactly the same texture as my apple wireless keyboard and trackpad. It matches perfectly.I have noticed a slight decrease of mouse accuracy at times. It seems to be intermittent though. If I take the magic mouse off the pad and put it on my desktop everything is back to normal, then later on I'll switch back to the mouse pad. It's a little annoying and the reason for the 1 star deduction. I have tried putting fresh batteries in the mouse so that doesn't seem to be the issue.[EDIT} It turns out that my issue with a decrease in performance had nothing to do with this mouse pad. It was, instead, and issue with the bluetooth antenna in my 2008 Mac Pro. I removed the stock bluetooth chip and added a $13 bluetooth 4.0 dongle and performance is now perfect. This mousepad looks sharp and is a great buy. [EDIT}All of my desktop accessories are the matching aluminum (i.e. ipad and iphone stands, aluminum coasters, seitek aluminum USB hub) so this was a must for me if for nothing else to have the complete matching set.Overall I'm pretty happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a mouse pad that will match the rest of their Apple products.

WOW! This is a very well constructed mouse pad. Now, I have been always using a rubbery mouse pad that usually rips after several months of usage. But for this mouse pad, this is not going to be a problem.The mousepad itself is very stylish and fancy and it matches the apple magic mouse very well. This mousepad is both fancy and simple which perfectly matches the designs of apple products.This mousepad is also strong and durable. Since it is made of aluminum, it does not bend or break easily. I have done some droping testing with this pad, and it barely got scratches. I was very impressed. The smooth surface is also another benefit of this pad. When you move around the mouse on this pad, it feels like the mouse is floating in the air. My hand does not feel the mouse pad at all.Also, the rubber feet on the bottom of the pad prevents the pad from sliding off and it also prevents the table from getting scratches. They work great. The pad stays stable on my desk and never slides.This pad is also really easy to clean. Paper towels will clean this pad very easily. Food, drinks, any kind of stains will come off easily.Overall, I love this product and highly recommend this to people who want to add some stylish and fancy mousepad to you computer desk setup.I received this product at a promotional discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased feedback.

This has got to be the best mouse pad I have ever used and owned. I have a PC hooked up to my TV in my living room, so naturally I use a wireless keyboard and mouse from the couch. This mouse pad works perfectly for the couch. It is very sturdy, thick aluminum and is well finished. It is definitely a piece of luxury that compliments any computer. Yes it does make the scratchy noise that most other reviewers have mentioned, but it doesn't bother me. My mouse sensitivity is usually set to high, so for me to move the mouse from one side of the screen to the other only takes about one square inch of physical movement. Not much scratching there. The fact that the mouse has slight friction on the pad (hence the scratching sound) is a plus because it won't just slide off the couch and plop on the floor. It sort of stays in its place, even if the mouse pad is not completely level on the couch. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it for anyone. Luckily I was able to find it from a merchant on Amazon for about $17.99 which was a deal since I saw it from other merchants for $29.99, but it depends what color you get too as the price can fluctuate because of this. I still can't get over how awesome this thing is! LOL

The good- Nice finish matches Macbook pro and Apple wireless keyboard pretty well seems to be a bit lighter- Nice pads on the bottom side so the aluminum doesn't contact the surface.- Just to give you an idea of size the length and width are almost exactly the same as the iPad and sits just more than 3/16" above the surface of your desk.My criticisms- There were a few small scratches on the bottom side right out of the package. Makes me wonder how easily it will scratch in the future- The company logo is on sideways (I use it in portrait so that my wrist can rest on it, if you use in in landscape your wrist will rest on the sort of sharp edge.- It is cool to the touch at first (I knew this when I bought it)Bottom lineIt's an aluminum slab, the color is very close to the color of the macbook pro but definitely not a perfect match. Mine had a few scratches on the bottom side , the top side was flawless however. The barley noticeable logo is sideways but not a big deal to me. They do also make these in a grey color I don't know if the color would be a better match or if it would be way too dark. If you have the grey one please let me know.

I recently bought a new MacBook and I was looking for a mouse pad that would complement it. I personally believe in quality so I decided to invest in a quality mouse pad and honestly, it surpassed all my expectations.It’s a beautiful piece of craftsmanship; simple and elegant. An Absolute Masterpiece! You are definitely getting what you paid for. I will give 10 stars if I could and I highly recommend it.I accidentally dented it recently and after reaching out to the seller it was replaced immediately. The response was very prompt and the replacement was shipped the same day. I have not got this kind of quality service from a third party on Amazon. Shout out to Jonathan who made this as a priority. I am extremely happy with the product and the overall experience.

Very well made but its ABSOLUTELY FREEZING to work on, my arm was so cold after a short period of time so had to send it back.
