Did not realize how big this was for my small apartment. However doing an excellent job. If I am in another room using an aerosol spray like hair spray or cleaning product, it activates quickly to purify the air. Highly recommend. Bought this after my Winnex purifier stopped working after 4 years. This is much better quality and is very quiet.

Like several others have reported, my initial purchase was noisy out of the box - sounded like I had a bunch of crickets in the house regardless of speed. Vendor support for this product is not provided by Honeywell directly, but rather the sole distributor so I needed a second phone call, but both very professional, helpful, understanding and efficient.. They sent a replacement the day after my call (really shipped) not waiting for me to send back the crickets. The emailed me a shipping label because they wanted their engineers to diagnose where the noise was originating. This unit has a 5-year warranty and they mean it.

I have three of the Honeywell Air Purifiers. My house is dusty and I don't like house cleaning. These units have definitely reduced the amount of dust that accumulates on surfaces. Really helps with litter box odor as well. The sound on the low setting is like white noise, and I don't find it objectionable. The high setting is louder, so I use that in the rooms I am not in. I like that I can chose to cut off the console light at night. The machine lets me know when to the pre-filters need attention. I vacuum the black carbon pre-filters regularly and have not had to replace them. I also occasionally rinse off the black pre-filters. No soap or scrubbing, just a gentle rinse, hang to air dry. The instructions state "do not to do this", but I have not had problems. It is more cost effective. Have not needed to replace the HEPA filters yet. The HEPA filters are not washable but can be vacuumed too. Allergy and pollen season started early in my area and I am glad to have these units running. Recommend all sizes and models of the Air Purifier. My local electric company also sells and recommends them but Amazon has the better prices.

This is the right size filter for the room size specified. It is efficient and works very well in filtering the air. We a have room in our house dedicated to sewing and quilting, which generates a lot of fabric dust. This filter works great. It is quiet also. We usually do not use the turbo setting, and the filter unit works well at lower speeds. It is small and light weight, with a convenient grab handle. We run it 24 hrs a day every day, and so far it has been reliable.

I LOVE THE HONEYWELL AIR PURIFIERS! THIS UNIT IS VERY QUIET, EFFICIENT AND EASY TO USE. ALSO HAPPY THAT IT DOES NOT PRODUCE NEGATIVE IONS. VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE!

We have had this for 2 years now, so there has been plenty of time to see the results of this purchase. Here's what we have seen:- Less odor from pet litter box areas.- I snore less (according to significant other.)- Much less dust in the air. (No allergies here, but I can only assume this would be amazing for people that do have allergies.)- Smoke from nearby wildfires is significantly reduced.Recommendation: If you're on the fence about buying one, or even if you're just now considering one, it's a very solid investment, especially if you have allergies or are sensitive to airborne dust/smoke/etc.Make sure you change the both filters REGULARLY (pre-filter and HEPA filter,) and make sure you use *legitimate* good-quality HEPA filters. I know it's tempting to save a few dollars buying a third party filter, but make sure any filter you get is compatible and actually HEPA certified. Buy a multi-pack to save, and it'll work out to a very small amount of money per year - well worth the benefits.

The price on the 300 series jumps around considerably. I've seen it for anywhere between $159 and $259. I was fortunate to snag it at the lower figure. I had the previous version for nearly 10 years where it performed faithfully 24/7. Then the motor started making loud squealing noises however and I needed a replacement. Honeywell has streamlined the appearance of the unit and simplified the controls. I like the new "Auto" mode that adjusts the fan speed based on the air quality. There is a cool looking "heads up" display. The pre-filter and 3 main filters are the same type, so I usually keep a few sets on hand as I have several of these units about my condo. All in all I don't see anything to complain about. I have no regrets and would purchase again 👍👌

en las mananas es cuando mas malo me ponia con las alergias y en efecto, el purificador de honeywell lo detectaba en el modo automatico y se ponia en amarillo o rojo... llevo 1 semana usandolo y he estado MUY bien... 100% recomendable... de hecho comprare otro para la sala...
