Installed this into my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am
This is my first ever car stereo installation, it was very easy. I had to go to Auto Zone to purchase a mounting kit for $13 but that's to be expected. It was very easy to install it. I first tried to crimp the wires, which I've never done before, and could not figure out how to do that so I gave up on crimping. I ended up simply wrapping the corresponding wires from my mounting kit onto the ones that come with this stereo and that was that. I will have to use electrical tape on them in the future to save me any headaches, but this just shows how simple it really is to wire a car stereo in.As for the stereo itself, it's great. It handles calls with my Android smartphone if I plug the usb cord in or with bluetooth (and it charges my phone too), and according to my mother, the audio quality is perfectly fine. I like how I can press the previous and next buttons to skip between songs on my phone, it works with all the music apps you can think of as far as I know. It just works so well with my smartphone, I'm really impressed. For $30, I recommend this.

How To Set The Clock
The clock setting instruction in the booklet is wrong. Rather than use TUNE UP and TUNE DOWN to set the time you must use the Volume Control Knob instead. The USB feature is almost useless, at least for an iPod anyway. I mean who still carries USB thumb drives with music files on them? You can still charge your iPod through the Dual's USB connector but to play music from it you must connect its headphone jack to the AUX input on the Dual. If there's a big volume difference between the Dual's radio and your Bluetooth or Aux device then adjust the volume on your device. Another gotcha to be aware of: I bought this to replace an old Dual radio (XDMA 6630) that broke hoping that the wiring harness on this Dual would be a match. It's not, sorry. Finally buyer beware, THIS IS NOT A CD PLAYER, but for $28 it does what it does well enough for my RV.

This unit is not a CD player
I've been buying Dual since I bought my first marine unit for my pontoon boat. I've never looked back. They are dependable, powerful, and rugged. For the price, in my opinion, they're cheap at three times the price. Mine has great sound, simple operation, and blue-tooth so I can play music from my phone or use it to make calls hands free. I don't know of another brand, this side of forty bucks, that gives this much quality and value. The unit I choose is a head unit only (no CD player) but given today's technology, CD's are going the way of the 8 track tape anyway. I keep my music collection on a thumb drive so I don't use up my phones memory, and the fidelity is better than any CD. Given a choice, I'll choose DUAL every time.

Great little cheap unit
It works just fine. Bluetooth is easy to set up, sound quality is decent and overall display is nice and simple. Nothing fancy but what else do you want for the price? I wasn't shocked to find some components of the stereo were "cheap". Didnt expect much for what I paid but it's a nice little unit. Only had it installed a week now but so far I'm happy.

Not a bad product.
Great product for the money. Only issue is on the FM radio volume surges up and down slightly. Volume works great on bluetooth though. Only other issue is the lights are kind of bright and they cant ge dimmed down. Other than that it's a good product.

Looks great! Sounds great!
I am giving this stereo a 4 star because this one i bought for another car and didn't work fully. The one i am running in my other car works great but i happened to recieve a faulty unit this time. Give it a shot. Really good stereo for the price!

Surprisingly good
Honestly, better than I expected for a 25$ radio. I purchased this for my second car, so I didn't really care about quality, just wanted something in there while I was screwing around with the car. But to my surprise is actually sounds good. I've had cheapo radios in the past (like boss) that sound like crap. The Bluetooth works perfect with my pixel 3. I would buy again if I ever need a cheap radio again.

Can’t turn brightness down
Awesome radio for the price. Bought two of them for both my trucks. Only down side is you can’t turn down the brightness. Other than that it’s a good radio. Does not have CD player
