Bayit Sense Wi-Fi Vibration Sensor - White

I wanted to know how often my sump pump runs under various weather conditions and I was wondering whether a vibration sensor attached to the pump itself or its discharge pipe might do the trick. The seller of this sensor seemed confident that it would be sensitive enough to pick up the vibration from the pump, and they were right! The iOS app for this sensor can display an alert and/or make a sound when vibration is detected, and a log of detection times is available in the app.Only thing I don't like is that the app is the only way to get the data from the sensor; there's no web interface over which you can retrieve the sensor history. Loses one star for that, but overall seems like a very good product at a reasonable price.

In order to use this product you must be able to set up the app. In this case the app will not accept a new account as it gives an error message unable to connect to server. When you try to use the same email and try again, the feedback is that email is used. When you try to reset the password no email is sent . When you contact support they don't answer.

This is an excellent little device which I use to add another layer to gun safety in our house. I have one of these matchbox sized units sitting inside or on the door of every gun safe/lock box. If someone so much as jiggles the door or opens the drawer, I get an alert straight to my phone. Simple and flexible to set up - connects direct to your wifi without the need of a hub ... I've got 4 working simultaneously and no issues. Sensitivity is two setting adjustable to save false positives from just walking by on the hardwood floor! If you've got guns and kids, this 40 bucks buys a lot of extra piece of mind.

Works ok at times then stops sending alarm, customer service has never and I mean never returned one of my help requests !!! Would never buy another product from them, terrible !
