Works as advertized
I spilled water on my last keyboard and needed a quick replacement. This one fit the bill and works perfectly. It also includes a fingerprint reader, which I didn't have before.

Nice keyboard
It's a little chiklett-y but easy to adapt to. My first one suffered a spill, but it's still working; ordered a 2nd as a backup.

Happy with the purchase just like the original.
I got this because my older type cover started acting up. This one seems pretty much the same ( the only difference being the fingerprint scanner). It seems a bit thicker but also durable. The box it came in seems like a regular Microsoft type cover box. The fingerprint scanner works pretty well but doesn't have much use with the pretty good built-in face scanner. If you are hard stuck between this one and the type cover without the fingerprint scanner I'd say price wise go for the other but if you don't like using the face scanner this one works very well.

Needed a replacement keyboard and exactly what we needed.

A natural addition to your surface.
Great addition to the Surface. The keys and track pad are responsive and accurate. There are no issues with connection or usage. The fingerprint reader works flawlessly. This is a pricey addition but works well and looks good. EDIT: I purchased a Surface type cover on 4/5/21 from this retailer. I have used this computer only a handful of times since then (this surface PC is a secondary device I own). On 4/15/22 I attempted to use the keyboard but it did not work. I tried the entire battery of troubleshooting tips from Microsoft but nothing worked. The keyboard is defective (and likely refurbished-I called MS). Not cool guys.

Good quality product
It is more than what I expected ... I like keyboard light, keystroke and touchpad work pretty well, still ..some application/site asks fingerprint. Need some time to get used to the keyboard but I like it.
