I bought one of these (1000 piece) for myself last Christmas because I was trying to do a Christmas puzzle but I didn't have a spot other than my dining room table to assemble it, and since I have a 2 and 4 year old I could not leave it on the table 24/7. So I needed a way to put the puzzle away and bring it back out when I wanted to work on it. I have tried some of the roll up mats in the past and the puzzle always broke apart when rolled up so I wanted something a little better since I was essentially taking this out and putting it away almost daily. I came across this option and I didn't want to spend so much on it, but it was absolutely worth it! It has a board section that is really sturdy where you assemble the puzzle. There is a padded flap that you lay down over the puzzle board part, and then 4 pockets with little trays. I was sure that the first time I zipped it and turned it upright that my puzzle would be a mess when I opened it back up, but so far I have not had that problem once! I am so impressed with this. You can also take the tray out and put it on a table to work on the puzzle then easily pop it back in and zip it up. I love this so much that I ended up buying one for my mom for Christmas this year, and she is super excited about it too. I highly recommend this option!

Worked great on my trip. We puzzled on a hotel balcony all went well til the wind picked up and blew one of our sorted trays off. We lost 2 pieces but on the bright side we quickly unsnapped the trays and pulled them randomly on the puzzle board. I did bring some of my TecTalk sorting mats as well to cover all the pieces. Anyway put the weighted top on, zipped it up and it rode all the way home handle up in the backseat. It looked exactly the same when I got home. Perfect no puzzle pieces had slid down to the bottom either. Once home I began to puzzle alone at an angle and noticed the La vie vert trays that I love the size and the way they snap together had a fixable flaw. The felt like fabric needs to be on both sides otherwise when puzzling at an angle it slides down off the board which is a pain when trying to puzzle. That is the only down side and if you don’t like your sorted mats on your puzzle board then it’s perfect for travel. More snap together sorting mates should be made with the La vie vert design but with the non slip fabric on both sides. Did not use the Velcro pockets at all. Would buy again!

I received this as a Christmas gift last year, and I absolutely LOVE it! I really appreciate that I can take my puzzle with me, and I don’t have to worry about finishing it in one sitting. I’ve taken it on vacation, and sometimes I just bring it to the couch to relax and work on it. I didn’t think I would like the puzzle trays, but I like them so much that I want to buy more! I contacted the company to see if I could purchase them separately, but unfortunately, that option isn’t available.If you do a lot of 1,000-piece puzzles and like having room on the same board to add pieces—or if you enjoy doing oversized puzzles or puzzles with large pieces—consider getting the version designed for 1,500-piece puzzles. I debated between the two and went with this one because I thought it would be easier to transport and maneuver, but I do have a couple of puzzles that are too large for it. I still end up doing those at the dining room table.Overall, it’s a great price, and I’m so happy with it. I highly recommend this puzzle board!

I've loved doing jigsaw puzzles forever, but don't like how they take up space on the kitchen table. This keeper works absolutely amazing. It does exactly what it's designed to do, and it looks sleek and professional. I only wish they had a bigger one to fit 2000 piece puzzles. I've only used it for about a week so the durability is yet to be tested, but it ticks all the boxes that I was hoping it would. The sorting trays work great. The snaps do feel a bit flimsy, but if they come off (which other reviews have noted), I'll buy some new ones and repair it.The only other thing is that the board itself is not completely flat. I'm hoping it's because it's new and that it'll flat out over time. It's not enough to be an issue when doing the puzzle, just more of an annoyance.
