I am OBSESSED with this trashcan and am going to buy more for every section of my bathroom, bedroom, office, kitchen, etc…I didn’t know they made these so glam. I love that it gives me the option of hanging it on the wall or over a drawer or cabinet cause I was worried I would have to only choose 1, this was I can move it around if needed. I was even happier they came with trash bags! Not only are they nice black, plastic, perfect size bags, they are even the drawstring kind and the inner trash bin has holes to make the bag fit snuggly and neat inside! They also give a lifetime warranty, how much better can this purchase get? BUY IT NOW. In fact, might as well buy 2 cause you’re going to want at least one more!

When I received my product, it comes with a business card that tells you they are all about customer service, and they would love to have suggestions on the design, etc. I found part of it to be true. It also tells you specifically to send them an email to receive a gift. I have yet to know what that gift is. Here is my email to them and which I sent twice and received no response. I got a card with my package and I did want to give feedback. 1). The plastic connector/hanger (the one you use to hang over door etc) would not stay on the trash can. I came up with a way to fix the problem. I used command Velcro strips to attach it to the can. I also used one under the lip of the connector/hanger. The piece DEFINITELY needs to be for a tighter fit to the trash bin and also curved to fit it better. Without my fix the bin was useless. See pics 2). The gold ban around can…. I almost didn’t buy it because of that. I think they would sell a lot better without that. 3). My trash bin did NOT come with a command strip to attach to the wall which was fine because I didn’t want it on the wall anyways. 4). I do love the lid and the removable inner bin! I gave them my order number and provided pictures of my problem. About a week later I think I received a general message through Amazon, which provided basic information on the product. It was kind of like a form letter that is sent to everyone. So I used that versus the email they provide and sent them my message. I feel like they were more concerned about gathering free marketing information on how to sell more trash cans versus my issue of it. Literally not being useful at all without my fix. Here is the response I got. “ Sorry for the inconvenience and Thank you for sending me an email to tell me your suggestions, and we will reflect them to the manufacturer so that we can optimize the product later. Your satisfaction is our greatest motivation. The second point of your feedback - "(2). The gold ban around can.... I think they would sell a lot better without that." Could you knidly elaborate on that? Does this gold ban around not look good with this trash can? Because we're also torn between changing the gold trim to black, so I'd love to know what you suggest Best regards” The gold band was the least of my worries that was just a suggestion because they asked for suggestions, but the points of my trash bin being absolutely not usable… It seems that would have been addressed more thoroughly than the gold band. Also, I sent another message regarding this mysterious gift And still have yet to get an answer about that. I tried to make a video so potential customers could see the issue I was having… It’s not that great of a video because I’m by myself so I didn’t have anyone to hold the camera and I should’ve taken a video before I put the Velcro on, so you could see how bad it was. I noticed in the video at the end it almost makes it look like it’s sitting on the floor but it’s not. Overall, I would not purchase it again and I’m not exactly thrilled with the customer service. UPDATE: The company did reach out to me and the person who was in charge of handling emails etc is longer working there. They did apologize and offered to help. 1). So far my trash bin has held up fine. 2). The lid open options are awesome. 3). At first I thought it would be too small but it holds more than I thought 4). I can use store bags as trash bag. 5). Love that you can take out the inside can. 6). You do have the 2 options of hanging or mounting. I think I just ended up with a defective one. After talking with Yvonne (who reached out to me) I would buy another one because I know they will make things right and stand behind their product.

I really love this product! I bought this so I could pile up stuff to be composted in house and then be able to transfer to my compost tumbler, I wanted something that wasn't going to stink and was easy to use/clean. I've had this for like 3 weeks now and there have been no fruit flies or stinky smell. I wanted to test out the smell so I've been letting it sit before taking it out for about a week, there are eggshells, coffee, grounds and some really old bananas that have been sitting in there and you can't smell it unless you open it, but then the smell goes away as soon as you close it and I have not had any problems with fruit flies! I also really love that I can take the liner basket out which makes it easy to transfer all the stuff to my compost bin and makes it easy to clean. The other features I really like about this compost bin or that I can hang it from my cabinet instead of piling it on my counter which is already piled with stuff and it has two ways of opening , this product is very versatile!

This container arrived on time and was very well made and attractive. Unfortunately, I returned it as I bought it for my camper cabinet and it was too big to hang in such a small space.

Good product. Poor customer service! It came with 2 wall sticker hangers instead of the 1 wall sticker hanger and 1 door hanger as advertised. Nothing was ever resolved. They did not send the door hanger so I can not use it because the wall stickers don’t work.

I liked the design , but it felll off the cabinet door. We mounted it because our door did not work with the bracket as we have an old house. It is also a little too narrow to slide scraps into. Trying a larger one .

This one item has made my life easier in a small but important way. My previous method of storing scrap for compost was to put them in a plastic 2 qt. pitcher with a lid that took two hands to pry off. Plus it sat on my counter and was unsightly. The WAYCOM Kitchen Compost Bin is exactly what I needed. I cleared a section of cabinet under my sink and stuck the compost bin to the door. I tried hanging it from the door but the top of the bin scraped the underside of my rather deep sink. The adhesive is holding it well on the cabinet door. The top is super easy to open and when we're ready to empty, we just pull the liner out and take it to the compost pile, wash out the liner and we're back in business! It's right next to where I typically chop veggies and just makes the whole process simple. There has been NO odor and NO bugs. I especially didn't want a bin that had to be lined with a plastic bag so this bin is perfect.

My only wish is that it gripped bin liners better. They slip down.
