Love it! Easy to use and perfect size for countertop composting!

After my city prohibited any kind of bag in the composting I bought this in hope that it would close tightly enuf for everyday use. It does and it is very easy to access the inner plastic “bucket”. It’s large, but I prefer that. Also very attractive.

We have been using the industrial compost bin supplied by our waste co and it looks awful sitting on our white counter top so I decided to look for other options. Most of the other ones I found were too small but this is the perfect size. We use the 3 gallon biodegradable bags in our current bin and they work great in the new bin. I love that the lid can be opened from both sides. The only improvement I’d recommend is a more secure way to hold the bag in the plastic bin insert. I would buy again.

Got this for my sister in law and she loves it. I didn't realize the top had two flip modes, she likes the slide downt the front mode. She likes that it's not plastic, is nice and sturdy, and looks nice on the counter when she needs it that way (she mostly has it hanging inside a lower cabinet door).

This is a really solid bin for the price, and performs as advertised, feels solid, does a decent-enough job of keeping the smells in, and my impression is that it will last. It gets 5 stars for the value, but it isn't a flawless product.It's not airtight (and if you were expecting that, hopefully you're eyeing other products anyway), so you're going to get smells seeping out if its contents are particularly rancid, or you're leaving it out on the counter for long periods of time instead of seating it under the sink or something, but, in my experience, the lid is heavy enough and sits evenly enough that it will keep your kitchen from smelling of food scraps for multiple days between emptying.The 2 biggest weak points I see with this bin:(1) Lift tabs on the removable, inner bin are fragile. The plastic that the inner bin is made of feels a bit brittle, and with too much flex, could crack or break. That being said, just don't squeeze or bend too much and it should be fine.(2) The interior, bottom contours of the bin (that the removable, inner bin sits snuggly on), has little crevices that are very easy for tiny bits of food to get caught in if any bits ever spill over the edge of the inner bin when removing it. You can usually get these bits out by flushing these areas with water, but if anything dries out and sticks to the plastic before you get to it, then you're looking at doing some scraping with a fine tool, of course, that's a pain.

Good product. Poor customer service! It came with 2 wall sticker hangers instead of the 1 wall sticker hanger and 1 door hanger as advertised. Nothing was ever resolved. They did not send the door hanger so I can not use it because the wall stickers don’t work.

really easy to use. I like that yo can open top up or slide it open. Seems to hold smells in very well. So far it’s working out perfectly for kitchen composting. My only criticism is that the hook that goes over the cabinet door is a bit loose and it could be a bit longer, so that it could be hung over door on the inside of cabinet. (the frame hook is too short and top of basket doesn’t clear the cabinet frame). Not a huge issue since they provide the double sided tape to attach as well.

I have a tiny powder room (aka half bath aka two-piecer) off the main living area, which really needed a lidded waste basket (since it's not a good idea to use the toilet for trash if you're on a septic system!). This can is perfect for that, tucked between the wall and the toilet. It takes up very little space compared to a typical round or square wastebasket, hides anything that looks or smells embarrassing, and holds the standard compost bags I have been using in the kitchen. Plus, I appreciate having something metal and not adding another plastic thing to my household.

Muy práctico para tener en la cocina con basura orgánica. Antes de comprarlo recomiendo revisar dónde se va a colocar ya que es brumoso y no cabe en cualquier lugar

Precisamente se compro para que nuestro bote de basura no se llenara de insectos, lo utilizamos sin vaciar por 4 dias, al cuarto dia lo intentamos vaciar y tenia muchas larvas de insectos, en todos los compartimentos del bote.
