The deadbolt mechanism seems to be less secure than I might want on my front door. I installed a second deadbolt on my backdoor and currently using it. Works as advertised but the motor is a bit loud and slow. Keypad is also a bit tricky to use. Getting it to light up takes a little practice. Probably should have gone for a more expensive smart lock since this one cannot connect to any wifi or cell controllers. Other than that it is Kwikset and we can key everything the same very easily. It also has a nice modern classic feel.

A bit bulky and loud

I bought this set to bring our front door into the 21st century and am a bit disappointed. The deadbolt mechanism seems to be less secure than I might want on my front door. I installed a second deadbolt on my backdoor and currently using it. Works as advertised but the motor is a bit loud and slow. Keypad is also a bit tricky to use. Getting it to light up takes a little practice. Probably should have gone for a more expensive smart lock since this one cannot connect to any wifi or cell controllers. Other than that it is Kwikset and we can key everything the same very easily. It also has a nice modern classic feel.
