Dexter the Edge, Sani-Safe S286-8PCP 8"x 3" Solid Turner

I bought this spatula/turner with the intention of ordering another. If, it worked out to be what I was looking for. It has done just that. But... now I'm stuck with a conundrum. Should I go ahead and order the second one now?The item description reads "White Solid Turner" But does this look "White" to you? Had I known there were other color options. I'm not sure I would have picked this shade of Blue. But, it's what I received and I'm keeping it. Because it's just what I wanted, at least Form and Function wise. Plus, I just don't feel like going through the hassle of returning and reordering. Only to receive another "Blue" one.I hate the idea of reducing the Star Rating of a product in my review. Just because someone (Amazon) can't keep their Warehouse Product ID's and Item Descriptions in line with each other. So, I'm still giving this Turner a 5 Star Rating. Because Form and Function wise, the product deserves 5 Stars. It's perfect for cooking on a Griddle. Just like a Short-Order Cook. It's Wide & Flexible enough to easily turn eggs or pancakes. It's Long and Stiff enough to press down on Bacon Strips for more even cooking. And the edges are thin and sharp enough. To chop things into smaller pieces if needed.But now the conundrum. Should I go ahead and place the order now, for a second Turner as I had planned. And hope against hope, I actually receive one with a "White" handle. Or should wait till the current stock runs out. Then place the order when stock has been replenished. Then again, hope against hope, I actually receive one with a "White" handle. Or, will it be Blue again or possibly Red or Yellow? Which I found were the other Color Options available. When I did a search on Amazon, for "Dexter-Russell Sani-Safe Turner". But... all the other color options the search returned, were a bit more expensive. Some, excessively so. Over the one "Advertised" as having a "White" handle.Then there's another option. Spend an extra $2.78 to order the one I found with a Blue handle. Then maybe I'll get one with a "White" Handle. At least this way, if I actually receive what I order. I'll have two Turners with matching handle colors.

This turner is huge - BUT - sometimes you need it for specific things, such as picking up a big slab of something (cake, casserole, meats, etc.). And then you're very happy you've got one!

I have used it once to fry on a Blackstone griddle. It feels extremely well made and of commercial quality. The blade is fairly flexible but yet felt sturdy. When I tried to bend the shank of the spatula near the handle to change the angle of the handle, it would not bend without considerable effort, unlike some cheaper tools I have looked at which bent with almost no effort. An excellent tool.

I bought this to flip salmon on the grill. For that purpose it works better than any other spatula I've owned. It's flexible enough to get underneath the fish without tearing the fish apart and strong enough to not drop the fish on the grill. Good bang-for-the-buck here.

Love the size of this turner! Works great!
