13 Gallon Touchless Sensor Odor Control System, Stainless Steel Oval Shape Automatic Garbage Bin, Base Model Trash Can

I've had this trash can for only a couple of weeks...so far so good. The trash can works the way it should an looks very sleep and clean. The odor elimination doesn't really make a difference. The garbage still ends up smelling (and I change my garbage often!) It's a good trash can for the price, I really only bought it for the hands free feature! If anything happens within the next couple weeks, I will update!

Overall, I've purchased 7 of these (with and without wheels) and wish I had more places to put more :)). What I love most about these cans is the shape: they hold a 13 gallon bag perfectly so that, by the time it's full, it's really full and really to be pulled out and thrown away; no more pulling the bag out to put it on the side until it's full enough to be thrown away. Yay! Every garbage can should be like that :)).Aside from that, I like that these have a sturdy plastic ring that hides the garbage bag on the sides, so it's not visible on the outside, maintaining its aesthetic appearance. The ring also aids in the tight fit between can and top piece, so don't lose it! I use mine with batteries and they last 6 - 12 months, depending on battery brand. I love that they open on their own, which comes in very handy when both hands are full. These garbage cans are also very sturdy and don't smudge easily, they're very easy to clean. I never thought I'd ever spend so much on garbage cans, but I'm soooooo glad I made the switch. Definitely a ladder up from regular garbage cans, I love these and recommend them to everyone I know. Incidentally, everyone looks at me like I'm crazy when I rave about my garbage cans and both friends and family have purchased one, just out of curiosity. Imagine my glee when they start raving about them and recommending them to everyone they know :)).

I really like how large the opening is of this garbage can. Very easy to throw things out and not make a mess. However, the black part inside to hold the bag is a little small and the bag falls in the can some times. Not making a mess but not staying on top of the pail. We have resorted to folding the bag top over the pail, defeating the nice sleek look. The lid opens for 3 seconds, which is nice, but I have found it slams shut after that even if I am still using it. I wish it had a sensor to know to stay open but I am getting the timing down. All-in-all this is a good purchase.

No issues at all with this trash can. Would like to know how I could order a new retainer ring on my 2018 trash can, since mine has suddenly disappeared.

I was originally just looking for a garbage can with wheels. I live in a small apartment with a tiny kitchen, with the washer and dryer separated from the kitchen by a small folding door. There is NO floor space for a kitchen garbage can except inside the utility "room" between the washer and dryer (which face each other on opposite walls). I wanted one with wheels so that I could pull it out easily from the utility area and into the kitchen while cooking and/or baking, and then easily place it back, out of sight and out of the way, behind the small folding door. THIS IS PERFECT!!!Added benefits include (1) there is a plastic retainer ring which clamps the plastic garbage bag in place; (2) a lid that opens and closes by sensor that works amazingly well (four "D" batteries required); and (3) best of all, MY CAT CAN'T TIP IT OVER!!!!!Definitely one of a kind!

Specifically bought because the product is advertised as the SensorCan power adapter. Yes, I know iTouchless took over/services SensorCan products or whatever. But, Amazon sells iTouchless power adopters for less than $10. Why is this one $25? And why is it not listed as iTouchless?

Fit into place as it was supposed to. I guess it helps with odor. I don't smell anything until the lid is open. So I don't know if that is due to the lid or it.Update: I have dropped this down by 1 star because the basket falls out more than it should. When I originally bought this trash can, the basket never fell out. This has at least 3 times since we bought it. It's not something that will make us buy a different one but it can be frustrating when it happens.

I've had these trash cans for a little over 2 mo now and I love them. I use one for recycle and the other for trash. I am using batteries for one and plug for the other. I have not noticed any differences in how they operate. Trash cans arrived on time -well packaged-no damages!Pros: Holds a lot. No a lot of empty space in trash bag when you take the bag out of the trash can. Trash can opens easily with wave of hand or finger (most times I have my hands full) and closes in just enough time. Light weight but sturdy. My 4 yr old super hero son treats them like they are villains so he bangs on the top kicks the sides (almost daily) and these cans still work and look brand new.Cons: not really a huge con. There is an inner ring that you must wrap the top part of the trash bag around to prevent the top part of the trash bag from showing. My mom visited me recently and didn't want to bother with it so the top part of the trash bag was visible. Still not a big deal.Get the product. You'll love it.
