Love To Lungs- Updated
Since writing my initial review below I must say the quality of these is much lower now because now I experience a large number of filters that don’t filter at all and after an initial very difficult, often impossible pull, and replacing the filter with another works but makes these costlier and less efficient. Weedgets has come up with a great competitor and though less to a pack they all work. These are inserted into ANOTHER stainless steel and silicone filter, providing an additional charcoal layer of filtration and what’s seen/has to be cleaned off the stainless screen is enough for me to be happy about what my lungs didn’t have to deal with. I’ve run across a few that just didn’t work in a pack so far and I’m never sure I’m getting the full amount, depending on packaging. These are a definite no brainer though- get them.

These filters are great, but smaller in diameter than stated
I've been using these filters with a RAW adjustable 110mm roller, and they work great. I make my own clove and tobacco cigarettes, and these work better than other filters when rolling with a machine. I get about three cigarettes out of each filter (I reuse the filter a few times before discarding it).The only thing that I find "off" with these filters is that they are stated to be 9mm in diameter, but in the details it says 8.4mm, and the ones I received are 7.8mm in diameter when measured with a digital caliper. I don't know why this is, but it doesn't matter much to me, as they work with the roller I use.

Good but explodes
I bought it because it was cheaper than my other favorite brand. The tips does its job but every so often the wooden piece would fall out and I’ll have the charcoal in my mouth. I thought it was just me for reusing it but that was many times on the first try. I’d rather stick with the Blazy Susan brand.

Great for rolling your own tobacco and herb
I use these filters for both tobacco and herb. I normally purchase these filters from a shop in Amsterdam, where I also get my carpet glue-free rolling papers, glad to find this on Amazon because I ran out of filters and didn't want to wait 10 days. I actually re-used a couple of them lol, seemed okay, couldn't tell the difference. I tried organic cotton filters and they tasted horrible. These charcoal filters actually have no taste of their own. I read other reviews that state they had issues with clogging, though looks like those were from awhile ago, perhaps they have changed something, because I'm on my 4th box of 100, and haven't had any issues. They are a bit longer than most filters, but they work fine with my regular size Raw roller, just not as much tobacco fits. By rolling my own, I'm literally saving 13 bucks a pack here in Chicago, with the added benefit of using tobacco from a country that doesn't douse it in known carcinogens.

These are great for those who roll
I've been rolling spliffs (50/50 w. tobacco) daily for 25+ years, using rolled-up paper as a filter and I'm glad to see a product that takes some of the nasty stuff out. I love these and use them religiously now. The filters don't change the effect or taste. Some have complained about the size. These are the larger filters and they also sell a smaller version. Both fit in a standard rolling machine, though this size takes up about half of a 1.25 inch paper (Zig-Zag orange, for example). So, if you use a machine, you might like the smaller ones better. I roll by hand and both sizes are good for different rolling styles. Get this size if you want a filter the same size as in a cigarette, which I find better for a constant-width J. If you want a smaller filter or want to roll cones, try the smaller size.
