Description
Giraffe is all set for a soak in the tub after a hard day's work - but no one will leave her in peace! This lively rhyming story, containing vivid illustrations and phonic repetition, is specially written for children who are learning to read. A delight to share with young children, and there are parents notes on phonics at the back of the book. Review: Rhyming book - Children's really enjoyed this book Review: Great book - It’s cute, 5 and 7 year old daughters really enjoy it

This is an awesome book for my 2.5 year old. He asks to read it every night.

Cute book with focus on language development and reading skills
Cute story with intentionally simple rhyming and phonic repetition. The story itself is silly for young readers - my youngest started really liking it around 1.5yo. My 4 year old is now asking more questions about the language, rhyming words, etc. It has been cool to see the progress. I would not buy for the story, but a good stepping stone for language awareness and learning to read. If you pick one, buy Bee Makes Tea - it’s our favorite story in the series and has been better for language development/reading than Giraffe in the Bath and Kangaroo at the Zoo (haven’t tried others).

Très bonne histoire rigolote
Un des livres préférés en anglais de mes enfants. L'histoire est rigolote, et les images jolies. Les enfants adorent, et restent attentifs pendant l'histoire ! (Et ça, ça n'a pas de prix!)

arrived on time. Good pictures inside. Good story.
I bought this to read to my grandchildren. At first, I thought what a silly story. However, my under 5 years of age grandchildren love it. They never get tired of hearing the story read to them, and they certainly don't find it silly. For some reason it makes perfect sense to them.
