Lights up my basement very well. I know these are called garage lights but work great in my dark basement.

Really like the brightness of the light. I put these in both my 3-car garage and basement storage and the light is more than sufficient to light up the whole area. I like the motion function so they turn on when I walk into the room and I don't have to find the light switch. They can be sensitive to any motion. The basement storage one has is easily triggered by spider webs that may move. They are also temperature sensitive. The ones in the garage had issues coming on during the winter months when it got really cold.

White is extremely bright. If intended for a smaller space, a warmer color is suggested, if available.
