Nice small pad eyes with machining to allow one to use a flat or oval head screw to prevent snagging of lines or fabric.I ordered these to use to secure lee cloths for sleeping on a sailboat when underway while it is heeling. Would also make perfect for tie downs on a kayak with bungee cords. Great price for the value

I inspected each of 10 Tri Surge Solutions stainless steel strap eyes looking for flaws and found none. Each piece is well formed and finished. Testing with a magnet evidenced negligible magnetism as would be expected with 316 stainless steel.Dimensions measured with calipers matched those in the listing. Strap eye metal cross section diameter is 3/16" and clearance from mounting surface to inside of the eye is 9/16" (see picture relative to a quarter).All indications are these strap eyes will serve well on my saltwater sailboat for a variety of applications above and below deck. 316 stainless steel can be relied upon to serve well and look good season after season above deck with nothing more than periodic light cleaning, unlike the 304 (18-8) stainless steel hardware typically sold at the local hardware store which is marine grade but may stain above deck in a marine environment.
