Very sturdy/solid. Not a symmetrical design
This hook is SOLID! It's heavy and sturdy and will support a heavy robe or large towel. Take a moment to check out the photos beside the Amazon description so that you can visualize the actual shape of the hook. This 'shaft' of the hook almost appears to be twisted, thus the hook is not symmetrical. Note that the end of the hook where you would hang the robe or towel is broad & thick and because of this, if you have a 'locker loop' inside the collar of the robe (for hanging up), it may not fit over the thick end of the hook. Installation was fairly straight forward but a drill is needed of course.

Modern looking and heavy duty robe hook
This robe hook is a really nice modern looking heavy duty hook that matches my Crome bathroom faucets.It will hold heavy robes or wet beach towels or bath sheets very nicely.
