The perfect "more of everything" expansion!
If you love Everdell, Newleaf is a non-negotiable addition. It adds a train station element that really opens up the board and gives you so many more options for combos. I personally love the new critters and constructions—they feel balanced but powerful. It makes the game feel fresh again without overcomplicating the rules I already know. The artwork is, as always, stunning. It has officially become a permanent part of our setup every time we play.

Fun, complex expansion for Everdell
A fun edition to the Everdell game. Definitely adds a layer of complexity to the game. Big meeples are great and journeys make planning out your endgame very important. Beautiful artwork as usual. Adds significant amount to playtime, especially if you play with people who take long to make a choice, so just be prepared for that.

Great expansion pack
This expansion pack to Everdell is awesome! It has taken the experience to a new level. You can now collect more resources and win extra points at the end of the game. I like the idea of the critters having superpowers. It adds to the fun of the game and introduces a new strategic element. By itself, Everdell is great, but this adds to the experience.

Fun game. You will need the base game.
You will need the base game in order to play this. My 10 year old daughter asked for this for Christmas, as we have the base game, and loves it. This game takes some time to understand how to play, and you will need to block out a morning or afternoon, but it’s fun.

Needed expansion for base game
If you have the base game this expansion definitely helps aid in the fluidity of the original game. Have not played it more than 3 players with the expansion though.

Excellent Expansion
After reading and watching many reviews, we decided to get this as our first expansion. This is an excellent addition! The new cards and train station add really interesting dynamics to the game. I would recommend this to anyone looking to expand from the base game.

Solo & 2-Player Expansion
I added Mistwood to my Everdell collection because I wanted a stronger solo mode and more tension at low player counts. This expansion does exactly that. It feels like a full “alternate mode” rather than just extra cards. What I love The Nightweave AI is genuinely challenging without feeling unfair. Solo mode has structure and personality — it’s not just dummy turns. The 2-player variant adds pressure and makes the game tighter. New player powers bring fresh twists to strategies that can get samey. The new critter meeples are charming and high quality. Integrates cleanly with the base game and other expansions. Setup is straightforward once you’ve done it once. Replay value goes up a lot if you mainly play 1–2 players. What I like less Nightweave has a bit of a learning curve on the first play. Some turns can feel scripted while managing the AI deck. Not as seamless if your group prefers high-player-count games. Summary A strong expansion that finally gives Everdell the solo and 2-player depth it was missing. Mistwood adds challenge, personality, and replayability without bloating the game. Great pickup if low-count Everdell is your main way to play.

Great expansion, love being able to play with up to 6 players now.
The expansion adds enough new concepts to compensate for more players but still stays true to the original enough that the base mechanics aren't lost where you feel like its new game when you go back to the original.

An under-rated expansion
I had initially held back on purchasing this expansion because some reviewers have rated this expansion as a low priority. I have to somewhat agree that Spirecrest and Pearlbrook are better expansions, but those come at a higher price too. In terms of value and ease of integration into the Base Game, Bellfaire would be better. I would argue that Bellfaire should be the 1st expansion to get if lovers of Everdale intend to eventually purchase all expansions. This is because Bellfaire, with its modular mini-expansions provides variation to the base game without increasing the complexity and length of the game by too much. That said, if budget is a constrain and I have to choose only 1 expansion to buy, I would go with Spirecrest.

Awesome game
Great game with fun expansions. Cute characters and still plenty of strategy and thinking

Missing parts
The game was open and it didn't have all the pieces described in the package content. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Not Enough For The Cost
We own the main game and got this is our first expansion. The quality is good (artwork, pieces etc) but it doesn't add enough to the game to be worth £40. It feels to me like half that price would be fairer. Especially as you get no new cards for the deck and the additions are fairly lightweight. It's put us off buying further expansions for Everdell 😟

Great product, Terrible Seller
Ordered as a gift, and after not receiving the product for 3 weeks, I contacted the seller. Without my knowledge the product had been returned and the seller demanded I pay them the fee to resell it. After I paid the fee (half the item’s sale cost!) and they verifying my address was a correct they resent the package. However it turns out not once but twice they sent the product to the wrong address (despite verifying my address). Contacting the delivery service I was able to reroute the package to the intended address, where the product was greatly enjoyed. However the customer service was abysmal and I would highly recommend to order the product from another seller, even if the sale price is higher just to avoid the headaches caused by docmagic’s incompetence. As for the expansion itself, was greatly enjoyed, 4/5.
