New Balance Men's BB907 Basketball Shoe

I was turned on to New Balance about 2 years ago. always bought the usual brands pushed by NBA stars like Nike, Reebok, and Adidas etc. Never thought of New Balance as a legitimate basketball shoe maker. But tried them after someone mentioned it to me and was hooked right away. I've had a few different models. This newest model bb907 was comfortable and felt supportive right out of the box, no break in discomfort period, never had that with other brands of basketball shoes. Just ordered two more pairs when I found them on sale. Also have had the 905s (very comfortable and have a nice velcro strap for added feeling of support) and 889 but the newest these bb907s are the best most comfortable so far.Update 4/3/2014: These shoes are still great, but I cannot find anyone who has this model in stock anymore and I do not see a newer basketball model from NB anywhere. Not sure why NB doesn't get into the basketball shoes more.Because of that I ended up coming across and trying the Ektio breakways and am glad I did.Ektio Men's Breakaway Basketball Shoe

These are the best pair of shoes, basketball or otherwise, I've ever owned. It is indeed true to size and width (2E) and I got it for a great deal on Amazon (somehow, this color was sold almost 50% cheaper than other colors).On a side note, I used to take great pride in purchasing New Balance because they used to be entirely made in the United States, however, these ones are China made (oh well, the out-sourcing bug got to them too). Still, a great pair from my favorite brand or shoe-maker.Thank you, NB!

I just started playing basketball again after so many years of being busy with school. I am wide foot so I had to do proper research to find some great basketball that come in wide and I ended up with these.When I first put them on they felt great, true to size and width. Comfortable yet supportive. I haven't worn too many basketball shoes to be honest, maybe 3 other pairs, but they all didn't fit me well since they were narrow footed.I would definitely buy another pair, and if they go on sale again, I might just buy two :)

Got these high tops because I walk four miles on a stone dust trail every morning and the tiny stones got into my regular sneakers around the ankle and felt like rocks. Got New Balance because I have extra wide feet which limits my choices. These shoes are comfortable, keep the stone dust out, and do the job, but I only gave them four stars because the exterior material looks a bit cheap. Made in China of course. Why can't I get extra wide shoes made in America?

New Balance has always provided running shoes in a variety of widths. They are one of the few sources of other athletic shoes for wider feet as well. I've owned perhaps 10 pairs of their basketball shoes. I usually rotate two pairs at the same time as I was playing three times a week, and it gave each pair time to dry. I've owned four pairs of these particular models. I love them. I need the toe room as I wear two pairs of socks (one liner) to prevent friction and calluses and use custom orthodics. Unfortunately, it appears that New balance has discontinued them. Hopefully, the next models will be as comfortable. I do recommend paying for the better models. Their cheaper products are less expensive for a reason, and your feet are worth the extra expense in the long run.

I have a strange foot size; I am an 8.5 2E. New Balance is the only company that makes this size so i figured I would give it a shot. They are great shoes, very comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone. The royal blue ones are only 82 bucks and they are well worth the money. I am only buying New Balance products from now on; I will never go back to nike.

I have been using NBs exclusively for a dozen years now. I wear 2E's and love the wide toe box. I can run in them all day without any problems. Strangely, they have greatly reduced the number of times that I have twisted my ankles. Not sure why but I'm not complaining. Style works too and folks are always asking about them.

I got these shoes for the support on the heel. I'm dealing with some Plantar Fasciitis and reading up on these they seemed to be the best. The shoes fit well and are comfortable. Good support on the court. I also insert a heel pad which helps.
