Moves air quietly!
Purchased to push more air from a central furnace to a room that is far away (and only had a single vent in the room). Works as expected! The room is sufficiently cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The installation package comes with every possible option needed to install the inline duct fan. The unit disassembles so that the support housing can be installed without the motor/blower. Once installed, the motor / fan drop simply drop in and are secured with screws. Easy. The unit comes with a a 10 speed controller which is a must. I found that setting 2 is sufficient to push air to a far away room. At a speed of 3 there is a slight noticeable sound at the far end vent. Keeping in mind the house has a 1960's HVAC system that is essentially a series of is a long metal tubes, so without dampening additional noise probably to be expected. Even at level 10, it's not deafening. Setting 2 (out of 10) moves enough air to compensate what I had before. The unit is very quiet and does the job.

Working good
Works as intended, hopefully lasts a few years at least. A bit noisy but that's expected.

Efficient, moves a lot of air
I don't have accurate enough equipment to verify the exact flow, but it is certainly close to spec on high, and on the lowest setting with short ducts it was able to move around 200 CFM on just 5 W.

Excellent product
I own a beauty salon and we have added a nail tech and we needed to vent that work room to remove the odors. Didn't want to cut any holes in the wall so we just hooked a duct to the furnace return grate and used this fan to pull the odors out and vented it outside. It works great and is probably more than we needed but it serves us perfectly. It an alternate use of this product but if you need to remove smells and odors this is a great way to do it. It was easy to install , it's fairly quiet, and it really Sucks!!!

Quiet? Eh. Air movement? HOLY
I don’t know what all these people claiming it to be so quiet are smoking. It definitely puts out some noise. It’s pretty light though, so installation was a breeze. No weight on the tent. Build quality is solid, better than my VEVOR for sure.Though it may be loud, its power is insane. It creates an absolute wind tunnel. Perfect to complete my air cycle setup.

8" HVAC Booster fan is AWESOME!
My kids rooms are a very long duct run distance from the central unit and their rooms have always been warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter, to the point that I have contemplated getting portable A/C unit(s) to help cool the room(s). Luckily from the duct distribution area both the kids room were on a single duct that was split, insert the 8" booster unit before the split, installed 2x4's as a frame across the trusses, then installed the blower motor with a little cut up yoga mat between wood & trusses and motor & wood for a little extra dampening and its as quiet as can be, other than as much air coming through the register as we want you cant tell its installed.Bonus: On my furnace circuit board I have an EAC connection and this allowed me to use that as my hot while connecting my neutral and ground in the connections box, this controls the off & on of the booster fan (my hvac system allows up to 1 amp off the EAC connection) so I had to make sure the motors draw was less than 1 amp. I am not an expert so if you don't know what you are doing hire someone who does, this is informational only. But I couldn't be more happy right now, worth the $$$.

Quite efficient machine.
This fan is extremely quiet and move a lot of air. I use it for my 100 watt laser to evacuate rhe fumes. It does an amazing job. Move so much volume usually run on 1/2 power and it is even quieter.

Powerful
I'm used to ordering duct fans that make a lot of noise but don't really move much air. This is an exception, it moves a massive amount of air even on it's lowest setting. At full power it's enough to blow papers off a desk from 20 ft away with a noise level to match. I'm likely never going to need to run it over 40%. My only complaint is that the speed controller only has one button and it runs from low to high so you have to run though the entire speed range to slow it down.
