SP300 Darice Soap Base Goats Milk 2Lb Scored Block

I like it. Used it with several essential oils and natural coloring agents. They all turned out great & the base melted easily & cooled evenly.

This soap is easy to work with and fun to customize. I like to add essential oils and fragrances, as well as exfoliating additions like coffee, salt, or sugar. The soap is melted, the oils are added, and then the mixture is poured into a silicone mold. Soon, you have festive gifts to give to family and friends. My only complaint is that it melts quickly, but then again, a little goes a long way for lathering.

I used it to make a whole bunch of soap. For some reason, it is taking so much longer to set. Not happy with it. Just wasted a lot of time and ingredients!Never had this happen to the other brands I have used in the pastI would NOT buy this one again!

It has a weird scent

This soap base melts evenly and is super easy to use. I used it to make a bunch of christmas gifts this year. I went through 2 packages for all the soap I made. Holds scent well. I didn't use any color so no experience there.

This soap worked really well. It produces a nice lather. Best price I found..... It melted easily, I just added some fragrance oils and rosemary leaves, and poured into silicone molds. It's my first experience with goat's milk soap, therefor I didn't take off a star because I'm not sure if this is the same with all goat's milk soap bases but it smells awful! I had to use a LOT of fragrance oils to TRY and cover up the smell. As far as the product goes, it does work well.

Has a perfumey smell

There are no instructions on how much you can mix in or what should not be used. However, all the recipes I tried worked just fine. It makes a lovely soap and is gentle on the skin.
