Lumex 3 Wheel Cruiser - Lightweight & Narrow Three Wheel Walkers for Seniors & Tight Spaces

This is an extremely handy walker, lightweight enough for a 91 year old man to put it in and out of a car with ease. It moves around the house easily due to its compact size, but sturdy enough to use with confidence.

Glides smoothly. Fits into narrower spaces. Lightweight, folds easily and easy to put in car, even behind the front seat. Husband had trouble with folding walker with wheels on front and skis on back. He kept catching the skis. I thought its shape when folded would be awkward, but I'm not having any trouble with it and it's easier on my bad back. The larger wheels roll better over different surfaces outside. His portable oxygen contrator fits easily into the triangular pouch. Not disappointed with the purchase.

I love this walker! It’s light- I can easily fold and lift it into the car. No more struggling with my four wheeled walker. It’s convenient for going into stores and restaurants. The only thing I would change is the locking mechanism. You have to hold it down to lock. When you let go, it is unlocked. With my other walkers, you press down to lock and it stays locked until you pull up to unlock. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but I wish the locking mechanism was better. For the price,I am very happy.

This is the second 3-wheeler of this brand I have purchased. I have another brand I keep in my car, the sister to this one I have in my home, and I purchased this one to keep at my daughter's home to use when I'm there. The 3-wheeled walker is so convenient size wise, easy to maneuver, easily folds in for tight places and is light weight. I do notice a slight difference in this one and the one previously bought - this one does not seem quite as strong and the wheels are slightly smaller. I haven't used this one very much yet, so perhaps I will change my mind as time goes by. After a closer look I find that the first 3-wheel walker of this brand has rubber wheels and the newer version has plastic wheels. I guess that this is OK just not as quiet and perhaps a cheaper way for the manufacturer.

I recently had spinal surgery and after two weeks of using a traditional four footed walker with tennis balls I felt it was time to upgrade to a roller.This arrived in a box that didn't weigh much and I was easily able to set it all up with no tools. It tracks straight and feels very stable to me.My bathroom door is very small with only 22 inches is clerance and to get in all I had to do was release the center lock and pull the handes together a couple inches and in I went.Handle grips are comfy and the wheels roll effortlessly across my tile floors and rugs.If I had one gripe it would be locking the brakes takes a considerable amount of effort. Being a 50 year old male in good shape I can negotiate this, but someone with lower hand strength may find this more challenging.++++ As an update. 9/12/20This walker has been an important part of my ongoing recovery journey. It's easy to fold and transport. The angled front really assists in going through doors and tight places. While I can walk somewhat without assistance, it is my nighttime bedside companion for safe trips to the restroom.Very pleased with this purchase

I enjoy writing reviews when it's warranted, and this is one of those instances. I am still a relatively young person, but with age comes those little signs that say " You need to be more careful" I fought it for a long time due to stubborn pride. That was quickly swallowed when I developed a nice case of "road rash" after taking a fall while running errands.I'm a pretty fortunate person, but at 53 and with very mild cerebral palsy, my balance and coordination is awful at best. Being a bit introverted, and fine with being at home, my anxiety level went up dramatically if I had to be out in the real world. My muscles grow even tighter which makes things much worse. For 83.00 dollars, I got true independence and my security back. Within the two minutes it took me to adjust the handles on the cruiser to my liking, I knew I had done the right thing. No more "seeing eye friends" who would lend a shoulder if we were out and about.About the 3 wheel cruiser, to make it functional and ready to roll, I attached the two handle knobs to my comfort level, and it's perfect for my 5 foot, 10 inch frame. Don't panic. You'll find the knobs to attach the handles in the convenient, roomy pouch between the two handles. You do have a few color choices too. I couldn't imagine rolling around with a standard, chrome cruiser. I picked a vibrant "Bondi Blue" to roll around in STYLE. I'm going to be keeping this in the car for those times I will need to face the world. My stress and anxiety level is gone now. The next time I have to go anywhere, especially for long periods, I'll be the last man standing. Not only that, if I decide to hike the Appalachian trail, I could do it without batting an eye in addition to being able to tote a bus load of goodies. Screw a back pack!The nice thing about getting older is that you know it's okay to be who you are, and present yourself in any way that makes YOU feel comfortable. Hemorrhoid are another matter.This Cruiser came on time and was packaged well, and I'm actually looking forward to getting out tomorrow. This was the best decision I ever made.Mentally, physically, and emotionally.

This is the perfect assist for inside the house! It is a great size and provides stability for getting up and moving about. Turns easily on carpet and has a nicely sized pouch for my laptop computer.
