I only use the button that I can hear. My dog knows the sound and reacts to it. It doesn't hurt her or cause her discomfort. I use it to control barking and to get her attention. Most humane behavior modification tool ever. No punishment, no discipline, just communication. It works great.

My 2 dogs are notorious barkers. They aren’t allowed upstairs but as soon as they hear movement, especially mine, they’ll bark continuously until I come down. Being that I’m a ridiculously early riser, they’d wake the whole household up! No matter what I tried, nothing worked. One of my dogs would go out into my fenced in backyard & bark at nothing but the air & not come in no matter how many times she was called. Both dogs would beg loudly at dinner time for any table food they could get & not listen when they were told to get down once they climbed up on our legs. All of this & much more were fixed in just ONE day of using this fantastic device. I was so afraid it would hurt their ears, it looks as it only causes a moment of discomfort, not pain and enough to fix all their bad habits. The battery life is amazing and I wish I had gotten this way sooner!

Works like it says it does. I get different reactions from my 2 dogs. But still keeps them from barking.

This is a nice size and not too heavy, easy to use, and it seemed very effective - for about two days. I didn't want to "over use it" so I only clicked it a few times, but each time my dog jumped like he was being electrocuted (so even though I couldn't hear it - it clearly got his attention!). I was hoping it would interfere with his barking, which is particularly bad when out on a leash. But after clicking it about six times in two days, he seemed oblivious to it. Seemed like a good idea - but just wasn't effective for MY dog. Still - worth a try - every dog is different. I don't really blame the product, and it was preferable to an electric shock collar. I'm just doing my best until he matures and gets out of the "teenage" years to calm down a bit.

Ok so it worked for .10 seconds then dog gave 2 $/“?$ about it, dogs not deaf ( it’s not my dog) he stopped for a split second then continued on with his annoying little tuff guy bark when easily I had the solution the entire time. Let my pittbull shut it up. Chihuahua’s are the worst and can be the most obnoxious animals especially when u have an owner that doesn’t correct it when it’s going off like that.

The media could not be loaded. Tai never barks, but From the very first time I used the device, my Shiba turned right towards me calling his name. I only press it when I’m calling his name to get his attention and it gets an instant response from him. Not only that, he now responds to commands better in general! And we’ve only used it for 3 days! On a typical 1/2 hour off-leash walk, I call him and press the button maybe 3 times. I’m totally thrilled, and I’m buying one for my daughter to use with her chihuahua who barks all the time.

Our little idiot used to love people and other dogs. Then he developed a weird complex and yapped his head off at every man, woman, child, critter, and inflatable lawn decoration within distant eyeshot. We had been contemplating a shock collar but decided to try a more humane alternative first and the vibrating motor collars would have tipped his little frame over like a cow in a college town. We shut down his canine karaoke with somewhere between two and three clicks of this, and he hasn't yapped at the friendly environment since. We still carry it with us but haven't had to use it. Best money we've spent on him since removing his Anatomy.

I wanted it to make my 7 month old puppy stop jumping all over my senior dog. My senior dog makes loud screeching yelps....aghhhh! I used it 2ce last night and it worked like a charm...puppy went away when I said NO. This morning once or twice just when I pointed it, but he's stubborn so he started in again and got zapped with the ultrasound. Much easier than me trying to catch the pup who thinks I am playing with him. IT'S WORKING SO FAR!
