Pacer Comet Children's Roller Skate

I purchased these skates for my daughter, I ordered a size 3 which is a size larger than she was renting at the skating rink for growing room. When the skates arrived, they fit very nicely with a little bit of room to grow. The skates are very pretty, the outer wheel lights are very pretty, the faster she rolls, the more they light up. She says they are comfortable and very soft inside, her feet do not hurt at all while skating like they did when she was wearing rink rental skates, she has low arches so that is nice to know she is comfortable in them. The wheels do roll nicely but they are a little slow, that is actually good for now so she can learn the balancing and foot movement without losing control. I would most definitely purchase these skates if you are looking for a nice quality skate for a beginner or beginning intermediate skater. I researched so many skates before finally deciding on these for both price and quality since she will grow out of these fairly quickly. If she sticks with wanting to rollerskate, I will purchase a nice leather boot upper style skate with adjustable stoppers for her to break in to her feet and skating style. These roller skates are working out well for my daughter. They fit as expected (she wears a size 4 shoe, we bought a size 5 skate to make them last a while). They are perfect for outdoor use for a child who is learning to skate because the wheels don't roll too easily (that is to say they roll fine, but not as easily as skates you rent at a roller skating rink). They seem to be comfortable enough as well. She likes them.

At first my daughter was thrilled with these skates. She had always wanted a pair of her own and these seemed to be exactly what she wanted, comfortable, stylish, wheels that light! But after using them weekly at the local roller rink, she no longer is as pleased. She doesn't like the "roll." I guess she doesn't glide as far. She doesn't like the front stopper, it is a hard plastic and she would prefer something more like rubber, and she doesn't like the Velcro strap. Perhaps the strap adds leg support/stabilization. Maybe it is only intended to keep the laces from dragging or getting in the way and becoming a potential tripping risk. But what they end up doing is tearing and fraying the laces.

The skates were cute but not correctly sized. I bought them for Christmas, they arrived late & they were too small. I left them in the box to return them but I forgot to return them w/in the 30 days. I sent an email explaining that they have never been worn or used & if they could at least look @ them to determine that they are in brand new shape and just exchange for a size up and they were not willing to help in any way

My daughter wore these for the first time last night. After an hour of skating the color was already peeling off. She was not rough and is a moderate skater. The wheels dont even looked used, thats how much use they have got. Dissapointing they look rough after one use.

These are absolutely adorable! I bought them for my eight year old who wears them in the house that’s how much she loves them

Very good quality... These are very well make skates. The outside wheels on both skates loght up when they roll. Slow roll will make them light up. My 5 year old daughter wears a size 9, but with two pairs of socks the size 12 are just fine and that gives her a couple of years in these before upgrade needed.

These skates are beautiful, well made, lights are a nice detail that she loves. They run a little small, I suggest you go 1 or 2 sizes up so they last a little longer. My kid normally wears a size 13 in sneakers and I got her a size 2 in these skates, they are a bit roomy but she is comfortable in them. They are not as fast as other skates, but that's ok with me as she is still learning.
