Great hand feel. Nice and heavy. Perfect gift for a man or any whisky / bourbon drinker. They look very dainty and thin. Not the case at all. I thought I knew they were crystal but seemed a little plain. I was completely wrong. The clarity of the crystal and solidness if the glass is perfect. Not too fancy but can be. Purchased as a gift for a man with larger hands and he tossed all his other double d fashioned drink ware ( except the etched crystal ones I purchased him as well. Very well packed, not a single one arrived broken. Arrived in a box 3 times the size of the box they came in. The Schott Zweisel logo etched on bottom. Top rack dishwasher safe.

I had been searching for some classic tumblers to use with our good whiskey/bourbon/etc. Relaxing into the couch after a long day at work with three fingers of JW Blue is a nice way to wind down, but doing so while using the glasses I used in college just felt ridiculous at this point in my life. So thus began the great tumbler hunt of 2012. I searched high. I searched low. I searched in my price range and I searched out of it. One thing was certain - I was not going to settle. I don't think my desires were too crazy, but it was ridiculously hard to find what I was looking for. Mainly - a nice heavy glass, just the right size, clear, and no corners. Oddly, it took *forever* to find glasses that had everything I was looking for. But I'm not here to complain about that. My tumbler hunt may have taken me into 2013, but I'm here to tell you that I did find them! They are the Old Fashioned (9.8 oz) size of these Schott Zwiesel Tritan Crystal glasses. These glasses are perfect. Just the right weight, just the right size, and at an incredible value. I really can't believe how inexpensive these are for the quality. Here's a rundown on the pros if you want to skip my babbling on about some freaking glasses: - Heavy. How a glass should feel in your hand while you're sipping on some excellent bourbon. - Just the right size. The "Old Fashioned" size is perfect for what I use these for. At this point I've used them for sipping liquor neat, on the rocks, and actually in an Old Fashioned. They'll also be used for gimlets and gin and tonics in the future. - Smooth sipping. I hate drinking liquor out of glasses with corners. The ice gets caught...it's annoying. It's not a problem with these. - Classy (and classic) look. - Dishwasher safe. So, if you're looking for the same qualities in a tumbler that I was, no need to look further!

Simple, minimalist design with very heavy bottoms. They're very comfortable to hold and drink from, without being so thick that you feel like you're going to dribble all over yourself. I have a set of Mikasa glasses that are very similar, but these are much nicer.

I have wine glasses, champagne glasses and rocks glasses by them and love all of them. Went through several brands of wine glasses and all of them had some impurities or imperfections. Same for this kind of tall glass. But then after getting this brand I found perfection and beauty. So when I ordered these glasses I knew they would be perfect. Only downside is they don’t take to knocks well. We put them in the dishwasher but have to be careful when sliding in or out the rack they are on because they are so too heavy when upside down in the dishwasher that if moved too fast they can fall over pretty easily which makes them hit other things pretty hard and since they are so thin they don’t really stand a chance. I don’t fear breaking them in hand or when giving cheers with other glasses but they aren’t as forgiving to accidents like toppling as other glasses are. Well worth the money. They look superb and classy.

Great quality and modern design

This is Zwiesel Glas (crystal), not to be confused with Schott Zwiesel (Tritan). Although made by the same company, this is not the same quality. I've own multiple glassware from Shott and the are very resistant. The 'cling' sound that you heard when you hit them is very different: Zwisel Glass sounds less sturdy, more similar to regular crystal than to Tritan. These glasses are good looking and big enough for a long drink. I strongly recommend them, yet I still prefer Schott Zwiesel quality.

These glasses are perfect for old fashions or Manhattans on the rocks. The bottoms have enough weight to feel good. They are clean and simple. The glass is thick enough to withstand use yet thin enough to offer the drinking experience that thin glass provides. So far, they are well worth the money.

Stylist look..good seller

The glasses actually look better than the picture, the size is perfect for any drink with a lot of ice and they are wonderful gift. I had similar glasses before but the walls were paper thin and all of them broke in no time. These glasses are very sturdy in comparison. I just love them

Excellent quality and appealing to the eye. A true whiskey glass. I have a few differebt line items from Schott Zwiesel and they are holding up well. Except for the extra large red wine glasses. 3 of the 6 shattered in the dishwasher. Disappointing but oh well. Don't know until you try.

Ordered these for serving short drinks like rum (el dorado) on the rocks, scotch and Black Russians. While the size is appropriate for the use and surprisingly perfect for kids and smaller guests; I prefer a glass to be a little larger, as I am large. No fault to the manufacturer for this, I will keep them and may buy more, but need a little larger of a glass for myself.
