Still going strong after a full school term. Only reason I didn't repurchase for the upcoming new school term in September is because my son wanted something different. But it's a great backpack

The backpack is great quality, the vibrant puma really stands out. It has plenty of room for all my books and the straps are super comfy. Great bag for the price. Would definitely purchase again.

I basically use this as a purse. It’s great with a divider in the big part. A front small pouch, then a small place up top I put my wallet in! I had 2 gallon size bags inside of it full of go to items. Fit perfectly!

Nice backpack. I got this for first grader. It feels like it will be a gerbil backpack. The size is really good and it has good carrying capabilities.

This Puma Evercat Contender backpack is a really good everyday bag, just not completely perfect, so I’d give it 4 stars. The design looks clean enough for school or work, and it’s big without feeling huge on the back. The main compartment has plenty of room for books, gym clothes or a light jacket, and the built‑in laptop sleeve holds a standard laptop securely without sliding around. The extra pockets and front organizer make it easy to separate smaller stuff like chargers, pens and keys so they don’t all sink to the bottom. The two side water‑bottle pockets are super handy and actually usable, not just decorative like on some cheaper bags. Comfort wise, the straps are adjustable and shaped well, so even when it’s pretty loaded it doesn’t dig into the shoulders too much. The material feels durable enough for everyday use and some light rain, and the bag keeps its shape nicely thanks to the structured piping. It also wipes clean pretty easy, which is nice if you’re using it for commuting or kids. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is mostly around long‑term durability and organization. A few other buyers mentioned concerns about the zippers and fabric holding up for more than one heavy school year, and after seeing it in person, the zippers feel okay but not super heavy‑duty, so time will tell. Also, while the storage space is good, an extra internal pocket or two would make it even better for people carrying lots of small items. Overall, it’s a stylish, comfy, and reasonably tough backpack that works well for school, gym, and basic travel. If you need something affordable with good space and a laptop compartment, this is a strong choice, just don’t expect it to be indestructible forever.

It's a nice lightweight backpack. The side pockets are deep enough that I don't have to worry about my water bottle or umbrella falling out as I run to catch the bus. I wish it has a few more pockets, but honestly the backpack has worked our and held up really well for me and I am happy with the purchase.

Very sturdy with plenty of pockets

I’ve been using the PUMA Evercat Contender 3.0 Backpack for almost 2 years now throughout Grade 10, and it’s honestly held up really well. I carry it pretty much every day with textbooks, notebooks, a laptop, and sometimes gym clothes, and it’s been surprisingly durable. The material still looks good with minimal wear, and the zippers haven’t broken or gotten stuck, which is a big plus after this much use. The storage space is just right for school. It fits everything I need without feeling too bulky, and the compartments help keep things organized. The side pockets are also useful for carrying a water bottle. Comfort-wise, it’s solid. The straps are padded enough that even when the bag is heavy, it doesn’t dig into my shoulders too much. I’ve walked to and from school with it almost daily, and it’s been comfortable overall. If I had to point out a small downside, it doesn’t have a ton of extra compartments for smaller items, so you might need a pencil case or organizer. But for basic school use, it does the job really well. Overall, I’d give it 5 stars. It’s durable, comfortable, and reliable for everyday school use. Definitely a great choice for students looking for a backpack that lasts.
