Great game with the family visiting on boxing day, easy to play as a group. Lots of laughs, and a few of us in trouble with the wives

This is a lovely little novelty gift that can be played with up to 4 people but my husband and I plan on 0laying it on our first wedding anniversary on our own. Good fun and laughs, the game itself feels great quality and has lots of paper sheets to keep scores, so that will be a nice keepsake too!

I took this out in my handbag, on a night out with friends at a dinner party, when the conversation started to break, and the game ended in laughter.

Might cause a few disputes between couples so make sure the number for "relate" is available :-)

Four of us were playing and after three of us read the rules, we were not sure, so we just got on with it not really knowing if we were right. I'm not sure if it is the rules, or the cards that the rules are written on, that make them hard to understand. If this aids anyone, these are the rules or instructions as we understood them. Form pairs and give each pair a 1 pink 'Partner Pad' sheet and 1 blue 'Partner Pad' sheet ROUND 1 Anyone not writing down an answer can ask the questions. Ask 2 questions from the 6 on the pink card and 1 question from any of the remaining questions from the front or back of the same card. The writing partner puts their answer on the 'Partner Pad' and keeps it secret. Then ask the same questions to the partners, who did not write down answers. If answers are the same as on their team’s pad, score 1 point. Repeat, swapping to the other partner and using the remaining 'Partner Pad'. ROUND 2 Complete as a pair. Any other player can ask the questions from the blue cards called 'Paddle Round'. The pair each hold two paddle cards, one pink one blue. Of the pair, neither should be able to see what paddle the other holds up. The best way is to be back to back. The pink card indicates one of the couple, the blue the other so when you are asked a question you both hold up the paddle to who you believe the statement relates ie 'who drives fastest?', if you think that is you hold up the paddle colour that relates to you, if you think it is your partner, then hold up the paddle that relates to them. If the paddles are the same colour then score 1 point. Repeat for all six questions on the card. Repeat for each team. ROUND 3 Same as round 1 2 PLAYER GAME Play round 2 the same way as round 1. Ignore paddle round If there is an odd number of players then the ‘odd one’ asks all the questions.
