Really recommend
Great light and really bright. I have since purchased another for a family member who was impressed by it.

Perfect solution
We don't have a mains light fitting in our porch, but this is brilliant. Just plug it in. It's motion activated so we know when the cat has come in and gives enough light when needed. Should have got it sooner!

LED Motion Sensing Nightlight - Great for nighttime toilet trips for kids / elderly and people with dementia
I bought 3 of these this initially for the kids bedrooms and landing so that if they get up in the middle of the night to go-to the loo, their initial reaction when getting up is to turn on the bedroom lights because they can't see, and then go back to bed leaving their bedroom light on....... ALL NIGHT Additionally, a few years ago my father was diagnosed with vascular dementia, recently he's started getting up in the middle of the night with extreme confusion as he's in the dark and when having TIA's (episodes for people with dementia which are like mini strokes) he wouldn't even be able to compute in his mind what processes he needed to do to turn a light switch on. Having this PiR sensor, this detects motion in his room and he can at least see his surroundings and knows where he is, it also helps him navigate his way to the bathroom and again eliminates the need for hi having to remember the light switch on Would I buy it again, or recommend it to my friends /family: Yes. Would I change anything ? Its great, its very bright, arguably too bright, also the time the light stays on for is fixed. The only thing i'd change is to have the addition of a variation switch to change the brightness and the amount of time it stays on for when it detects heat/motion. That said, I still think its the best on the market that provides a solution to my needs. Hope you found my review helpful? If so, please hit the HELPFUL TO YOU button below : - )

Bright with a responsive PIR. Ideal for a back hallway.
Perfect for illuminating our back hall where the light switch is only operable from the far end. Stops you falling over all the discarded wellingtons and other trip hazards. It would be too bright for a nightlight where you don't want to be blinded on the way to the loo in the small hours. We have a floor level socket right in front of the door from the kitchen and it triggers as soon as you open the door. Switches off reliably after about 30 seconds. Seems to have a short delay (about 5 secs) after switching off before the PIR becomes active again but this is of little practical consequence.

Very good product
Bought this to auto light the landing when guests use the bathroom at night. Super responsive PIR and bright leds make this a very efficient product. Well pleased.

Great illumination
In the past I have had a number of battery operated PIR lights to aid visitors who might need to use the facilities at night. Saves them hunting around for a light switch. They've all failed after a relatively short period of time so when I saw this mains operated one I decided to give it a try. Now obviously it has a limitation which is that you need a socket to plug it in to. So that may limit its effectiveness is some situations. However, for me this works absolutely perfectly. And luckily there is a socket close to the guest bedroom and so as soon as someone steps out of the room at night this little device lights up. And what's more it is so bright that they don't even need to put the hall light on. The route to the bathroom is illuminated perfectly adequately. And it will trigger again for the return trip. It is stunningly bright - which could be an issue in some situations where you want just enough light to be able to see but not so much as wake someone - but for my purpose the high level of illumination is perfect. And I thought the price was very reasonable too. I am happy to highly recommend this product.
