Intex Seahawk Inflatable Boat Series

Received my boat on 14th July 2025 very impressed with what's in the box ,so I've took advantage and set it up on 16th July 2025 to see how it was settling the boat up ,very easy we haven't tried it in water yet,but overall it looks amazing very strong rubber on the whole looks a great boat !!!!

We had so much fun in this on holiday and for the money the quality exceeded my expectations, very quick and easy to inflate and deflate, felt safe in it and sturdy, only problem was the queue of kids that formed to ‘have a go’ 😂 . Very happy and would definitely recommend.

Purchased the seahawk 3 for use on a nearby lake. She's a heavy girl, much bigger than the pics suggest. Sturdy and buoyant. Had a great time rowing round the lake then I stepped in lake cum. Was all between my toes but the seahawk never let me down. Was fairly quick to pump up and let the air out. Oars felt pretty sturdy too, might purchase some better ones at a later date. Only comes with one set of oars also so maybe worth grabbing another pair so multiple people can row.

For the price it is not a bad deal, the oars are not great, the pump is just okay, so if you are thinking of buying the seahawk 2 for the kids to play with over the summer months, you cant go wrong, It is quite a stable craft and can take the odd scrape over stones, It has three separate compartments so if one should puncture it will still stay afloat,coupled with flotation jackets and the kids should be safe enough. The dinghy will carry two adults but it is very cramped, I found rowing with two on board quite difficult, longer oars may have helped, a small electric outboard would have been even better, For any serious anglers looking to this dinghy as a fishing platform for inland lakes and slow moving water, I think it would fit your needs,( check out u tube vids to see how anglers set up their dinghies) but if you are thinking of taking a friend, I would go for a bigger boat, a three or four person craft would be better, Though they name it a seahawk, I would not go to sea in it, perhaps on the more sheltered beaches , bays,harbors and inlets on a very good day, but it would be fool hardy to tackle some of the tide races that go round our coasts, even with a maximum advised 1/5hp outboard, In the box it comes with oars and a pump, it takes me around fifteen minutes to blow it up and have it on the water, if planning to use the dinghy a lot, I would advise a bigger pump, and use the one that came with the dinghy as a spare, and a better set of oars, if money is not a problem, an electric outboard looks fun, There also comes a booklet with instructions, a repair patch, and a small clear strip of material with 0, 5 and 10 cm marked on it, there are also a couple of similar markings on each side of the dinghy , when the dinghy expands , the marks line up, you have the correct pressure, A small pvc bag is also included but it is not for phones, car keys and the like, probably its best use would be for anglers to keep bait in, For the money, you cant go wrong, my only real moan about this package is that you do not get a couple of air cushions which are included with the 3 and 4 person options, I think a four star mark for the Intex Seahawk 2 is fair,

Bought as a kids’ plaything for messing about in a pool over the summer and as such I’m marking it against those expectations. This dinghy far surpasses what you need for that sort of thing! The material is noticeably thicker and tougher than other dinghies we’ve had so that inspires confidence. The valves are great on the main chambers, allowing easy inflation and deflation. There are oar holders, rod holders and parts to allow an outboard motor to be fitted. The pump is adequate for the boat but I wouldn’t want to pump up anything bigger with it. The oars are fine, they are neither flimsy not overly rigid - not sure I’d want to rely on them if I were using the boat more seriously though. Size - this is a decent sized dingy that would probably cope ok with two adults using it more seriously and was more than big enough for two older kids. The dimensions are on the listing but it still seemed larger than I’d expected...luckily the pool we had use of was also a lot bigger that we were expecting too! Overall, we are very happy with the dinghy and it will get more use than what it was bought for, we’ll probably use it with confidence in lakes and calm rivers and bays.

1. It's heavy at in excess of 15kg un-inflated, no carry bag, so think how close you can get it to the water. 2. The included pump is good and easily inflated the boat in under 15 mins, but I'd look to find a taller one to avoid being bent double. 3. Decent aluminium oars/paddles with a retaining ring for use in rowlocks so you don't lose them overboard. 4. Very stable on the water ( canal in my case) and makes a great work platform around my canal boat. 5. For the price, I'd say this is a reasonably rugged dinghy with plenty of space and a good payload. I'd say great product and great value for money

Ordered this just as the weather was turning hotter. I have used it twice to row/float along the local river and even went down a canoe pass! It inflated very quickly and stayed up, was very sturdy once in it. Managed to fit myself (6ft2 85kg) and my friend (5ft10 72kg) in this. Ok it was tight and whoever wasn't rowing had to sit with folded legs, but it stayed afloat and we were not too close for comfort. Will take some beers with me next time! It deflated quickly and wasn't too heavy to carry back to the car as it dried out well. I reckon this will last a long time and the quality is excellent for what I paid £42. Just remember on a hot day not to over inflate as the air will expand in the heat, so make sure you leave some room when blowing it up

We were easily able to fit my husband (over 6ft) myself and two kids (6 and 2 years) as well as picnic basket, towels and two hiking backpacks with ease- even sat with splayed legs! We used the boat on a rocky river bed for 5 days... the boat is sturdy and very well made. We were lucky enough to be camping by the river side so didn’t have to transport the boat once inflated for our whole trip, which was so easy with an inexpensive electric pump we also bought here. Though the boat comes with a foot pump I erred on the side of caution considering the heat and the small size of the electric pump which could be taken on our journey on the river- I am so glad I did because the boat pumped in 5 mins and a quick top-up before every journey was ideal. Packing the boat away was simple and it fit back into the box it came in. The oars are ok- we didn’t find them to be too short like other reviewers One niggle is that the wet bag provided to put valuables in does not completely seal so phones did get slightly wet when we jumped into the river and sat back. So if we were jumping in and out the boat constantly the bag provided is not sufficient to protect the contents. Next time we will have to buy a bag ourselves.
