BabyRiceBaby Casting Kit/White Frame, 3 Aperture/Silver Hand & Foot Casts

I bought this to do in secret as a Christmas present for my husband. Arrived quickly and well packaged. The instructions were ok only a few points I had to read a few times to really understand what was required and had to guess at the size of pot to put the mould solution in. I managed to get two feet out of the kit, a 4 year olds and a 11 month old, plus I made a mistake on one as well, so really only able to do a couple of moulds especially if you make a mistake. It came with silver paint to put on the casts but I wanted to keep them natural. Had a couple of other issues which was the glue they provided was in no way suitable to hold them to the back board, and had to add additional adhesive to this. Secondly, I was doing it all a bit last min, and we put the casts in the frame before they were fully dried out and started growing mold. Easily fixed though as we just took them out again, brushed a little bleach over the feet, let them dry completely before putting back in the frame and all has been well since. The hardest thing actually is deciding where to hang it…we still haven’t yet as you can see. Would definitely recommend but you 100% cannot do this along, I had two other helping and could not have done it without them

Gorgeous present! A friend bought us some Amazon vouchers as a gift for our new baby and we purchased this momentum. It does take two people as the other reviews suggest to make the cast, but if you wait until the baby is in a deep sleep in the evening and put their hand or foot in the mixture they wriggle a little when you first put it in there but they relax and it works perfectly. We did one hand and one foot and painted the moulds silver using the paint provided and it looks great. After much deliberation we went for the white photo frame (which went better with other pictures in the babies room and a bit more modern) and added the silver hand and foot with a black and white photo of our baby. Great idea!

The Casting isn’t as easy as I originally thought but we got there in the end I’m so pleased with the finished result!! I had to order a name tag but I can’t fault the kit itself really it’s a beautiful keepsake and I would recommend if you don’t have a wriggly baby!

Wanted a cast of my babies foot and hand without having to pay the prices that they charge when you get it done professionally. Was easy to do, instructions were clear and watched an online guide to make sure I was prepared. Really happy with outcome and have spares that I'm going to give to grandparents.
