Hello, this is the wired version. There are many options available. Either you make the wired version wireless by using a bodypack wireless system, so transmitter and receiver to connect by using Shure WA310 cable, e.g. BLX14, GLXD14, SLXD14. Or you get yourself a wireless system with a Beta 58A handheld in the system, such as BLX24/B58, GLXD24/B58, SLXD24/B58 amoung others. Regards, Sascha from Shure

Is this a genuine shure mic?

No, it's not, it looks like it but it's not, it had a switch on the side which Beta 58As don't have, also the blue band is not the correct blue and falls off easily and the mic was unearthed. A complete fake!

The beta 58 is one of the most cloned products on the market- I noticed the vendor is now Amazon & the link to the sure store-fakes or genuine?

I can't speak as to now but I purchased one last year and it was the real deal.

Recently the supplier of this item has changed to "sold by amazon" does this mean it is no longer a fake?
